Disambiguation link notification for January 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Locura de amor (telenovela), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carlos Pérez (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If you want to nominate this page for deletion, you need to follow the three steps here. Just putting the template on the article isn't enough. Hut 8.5 15:23, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Artificial Beauty

Hello, Eric abiog, and thank you for your contributions!

An article you worked on Artificial Beauty, appears to be directly copied from asianwiki.com/Artificial_Beauty. Please take a minute to make sure that the text is freely licensed and properly attributed as a reference, otherwise the article may be deleted.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Artificial Beauty if necessary. MadmanBot (talk) 09:28, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Artificial Beauty

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Artificial Beauty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Removing Speedy at Artificial Beauty

Hi Eric abiog, you recently removed a deletion tag from Artificial Beauty. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:33, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Artificial Beauty. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:35, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at Artificial Beauty, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:38, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Artificial Beauty

The article Artificial Beauty has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:GNG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. To the Beautiful You

Maybe if you had used an edit summary in this edit, your intention might have been clear. However, I can't see why you want to add an interwiki link to a French Wikipedia article that does not exist. Please explain, and please in future don't revert without an explanation. Thanks. – Wdchk (talk) 03:18, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

interwiki

Please stop adding interwikis manually to the end of articles. Wikidata is alive everywhere and Wikidata handles interwikis now. If you need to add a new interwiki, you need to add it to wikidata by clickin on the Edit link next to the interwikis. Then the new interwiki will automatically appear everywhere. You are causing double work! Please read about wikidata here: Wikipedia:Wikidata Teemeah 편지 (letter) 10:12, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

The Listener Producers

Hi Eric abiog, All references regarding the production of The Listener (TV series) have stated explicitly that the series is produced by CTV and not its parent company Bell Media (such as saying The series is produced by Shaftsbury Films in conjunction with CTV and Fox International Channels), and as such I have undone your revision. I realize that it is a subsidiary which makes it tricky to determine who makes the series, but you say The Simpsons is produced by 20th Century Fox and not News Corporation so I would assume it should be the same way for The Listener. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter Forbesy 777 (talk) 05:03, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Tagalog help needed

Hello Eric, I'm contacting you because we need some Tagalog translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on tl.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Tagalog Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. A tag has been placed on File:Dosporuno-TVN.jog.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. You are receiving this as you have recently added an interwiki link to a page!

Wikidata has been deployed to the English Wikipedia. Wikidata manages interwiki links on a separate project on pages such as this. This means that on Wikipedia articles there is now a language bar on the left hand side of your screen where you can edit and add links rather than adding them into the articles themselves.

If you have any questions regarding Wikidata please use the talk page Wikipedia talk:Wikidata.

Lack of edit summaries

Hello. Although your edits are no doubt helpful, it is noticeable that none of your nine edits on 24 December 2013, to the Seven Network article included an edit summary. Providing one before saving your changes allows people to fully and quickly appreciate the reason for your edit and without having to search the revision history. To prevent accidentally leaving edit summaries blank, you can easily set up a permanent automatic reminder - just click on the Preferences tab at the top of this page, then click the Editing tab and tick the "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box. Cheers. Melbourne3163 (talk) 05:47, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
