Revise? edit

I didn't "attempt to fail" to answer your question, as it were. But I found it difficult to parse with certainty. If you revised it (there's no rule against that), I would be happy to provide a revised answer. (If you ping me and add your sig, that should work to notify me of a revised version.) If not, I think the best extra that I could do, if my interpretation of "grant BLP to a fetus" matches what you had in mind, is that ArbCom can't make policy, we would be unable to state categorically that the policy applies to fetuses (across the board or under particular conditions). But it is easy enough to to identify WP:BLPPRIV, WP:NOT, etc. policies that are apt to pertain to the circumstance (e.g. to the mother).  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  07:55, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nonsense edit

I read with disbelief your claim that almost every candidate has the character attribute of being willing to risk shame through abstinence from groupthink because of how they answered your two questions. In no case did either of your questions tell us anything useful about the candidates' soundness. You certainly cannot be using their answers – or the fact that they answered – as proof of independence of thought. And it seems patently ridiculous that at the end of your search, the candidate who avoided groupthink was, wait for it, everybody. The whole group, you might say? In all honesty, I think that your entire guide was a nonsense and I would ask you to consider getting rid of it. AGK ■ 23:28, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have a concern that some candidates read others' responses before writing their own. That my questions are different keeps them from copying or following others' lead. This makes them do more work, which could explain the "pushback" or whatever you want to call it from a minority of the candidates.
Not answering questions does not prove that they engage in groupthink, but answering shows they have enough acumen to handle things on their own if necessary. It indicates they have the capability to depart from groupthink. This is not exactly the highest bar, so I admit my guide is not of the best quality. See the guide as an act of gratitude from me.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 00:13, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Epiphyllumlover, your explanation is not satisfactory. Please take down this guide. AGK ■ 11:40, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I revised it; hopefully it meets your satisfaction now.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:01, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ahoy edit

I did actually answer your second question, though I didn't see it immediately because you asked it after the first one, so it fell off my radar for a bit :) CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 23:40, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
