Hello, I'm McDoobAU93. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Disney Infinity, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Legends of Chima, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Phoenixes and Panthers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WP:COPYVIO at Skylanders: Trap Team

edit

Hi there. I removed the text you added to Skylanders: Trap Team, because it looks like copyrighted material from an Activision press release, and you added it to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text without a verifiable license. You can use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content—you have to use your own words. Thanks for trying to bulk up the article though, I know it's still tiny. —Torchiest talkedits 13:11, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ultimate Spider-Man (TV series)

edit

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Ultimate Spider-Man (TV series), as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, for the following reasons:

1. Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here.

2. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and as such, its material should be written with a basic knowledge of writing. Specifically:

  • One teams up with someone else. One does not "team up" someone else, as you wrote in the passage "will team up the Avengers".
  • Sentences end in punctuation and new ones begin with capital letters. You cannot merely separate distinct sentences with the comma, as you did when you wrote "In Season Three: Web Warriors, Spider-Man will team up the Avengers, also he will team up with alternate versions of himself." The portion of this passage that begins with "Also" is a separate sentence. If you wanted to combine them as a single sentence, then it could have been written "In Season Three: Web Warriors, Spider-Man will team up the Avengers, as well as with alternate versions of himself." Similarly, the passage "Mayday Parker, Miles Morales, Miguel O'Hara, Kaine etc." is not a sentence. A sentence needs to exhibit a basic subject-predicate structure.

If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 18:27, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Please do not add uncited material to Wikipedia articles, as you did with this edit to Ultimate Spider-Man (TV series). As I mentioned to you above, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. I appreciate that you composed your addition with far better grammar/sentence structure, but that still leaves the issue of citations. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 05:14, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Spider-Man (Miles Morales)

edit

Hi. Please stop adding uncited material to articles, as you did with this edit to Spider-Man (Miles Morales), as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. As I explained to you above, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Jumping to conclusions

edit

Please do not make assumptions, as you did at Scarlet Spider. Where in the source or in the show does it state that Scarlet Spider in Ultimate Spider-Man is Kaine? We aren't going to jump to conclusions because of the costume. Until it is specifically stated in the show or until you can provide a reliable source that 100% confirms that it's Kaine, the information can't be used in any article. August 2016

edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dove Cameron, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Info about TV episodes that have not aired yet must be well-referenced and that includes future credits Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:14, 24 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited DreamWorks Animation Television, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Marshall. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
