Copying licensed material requires attribution

Hi. I see in a recent addition to UK Threat Levels you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Open Government Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 11:26, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Chevereto moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Chevereto, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe, and currently has none. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:09, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lewcm/Userbox/Northumberland

Hello Lewcm,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Lewcm/Userbox/Northumberland for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Lewcm/Userbox/Northumberland to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Wikipedians from Lancashire

A tag has been placed on Category:Wikipedians from Lancashire indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Proposed deletion of Discovery Heights

The article Discovery Heights has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No supporting citations establish general notability for the facility (see Talk page); all mentions are incidental or establish the location as site of relatively common events. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:50, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Question from Paragon2006 (11:42, 17 December 2023)

Is there a word or sentence limit for writing articles and can I use chatgpt --Paragon2006 (talk) 11:42, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Paragon2006, thanks for the message. We do have some guidelines that I think will help here:

Word/sentence limit for articles
There is no word/sentence limit for topics but we do split and merge articles if they're too big or too small. I'd aim for between 150 - 8,000 words in a single article, if it's much more than that it would probably need to be split into multiple articles.
You can find out more on our size guidelines page and information on splitting and merging. You can see an example of an article that has been split here: Nestlé#Controversies_and_criticisms.

ChatGPT
We don't currently have set policies for the use of ChatGPT (or other AIs) however it is generally not recommended. There are a number of other policies that can affect how/if you can use AI in articles. You can see WP:GPT for more information on this.
It is heavily discouraged to just copy and paste AI generated content into Wikipedia, and it will likely be removed/reverted. If you are going to use AI you must check the information provided is correct, and it must be referenced with reliable sources (see WP:RS) for it to be accepted on Wikipedia.
There is also a proposed policy that is not yet active, but I'd still recommend reading it.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask :) Lewcm Talk to me! 13:38, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Draft review

Hi. I saw you participate in AFCH as a reviewer so I think I can ask you advice on this article. Someone's rejected my submission after a few seconds, so I feel that no one appreciate my efforts. I want to create a few articles about exchanges, but even while first one got rejected without leaving any comment or suggestion I feel it has no sense... Antonio Vinzaretti (talk) 10:59, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi, I’ll have a look through the article and let you know my thoughts, I’m away from my computer at the moment so I could be up to an hour. Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 11:45, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
That submission has already been deleted twice at AFD, so at least two fellows said to me I would try and find more reliable sources, instead of sources which used in former AfD. But I have no idea which resources was used in former AfD lol. It is mocking? Regarding former AfD I discussed with David Gerard here on tag "Kucoin, Bitget, HTX", because I met CSD G4 and I have no idea how can I check content before me. I just have no access or bad in searching? Let me know. Same with KuCoin (top10 as Bitget), WhiteBIT (ukrainian). How can even I can be sure that my version is different or has same issues as former AfD. I only follow guidelines such as WP:NCORP WP:SIRS WP:GNG

The reviewer has declined the request as they feel it does not meet our notability requirements, meaning in-depth, reliable, and secondary sources. It may seem like a few minutes is quick but experienced reviewers are able to quickly determine these things, and it may also be because of other policies that aren't included in the standard response (I can't say for sure), I'd say to put a message on their talk page to ask what specific parts are causing it to be declined.

From looking through the citations here's my suggestions:
  • [2] and [3] are press releases and primary sources - not secondary sources, I'd remove one of them and replace it with a secondary source to back it up.
  • [4] appears to be placed on the paragraph starting with "Hybe Corporation also warned Bitget..." which I can't see a mention of in the article so needs to be replaced. That citation is good to keep in the Messi paragraph though.
  • [15] doesn't appear to verify the content it's referencing. I can't see a mention of Bitget in that article.
  • [19] doesn't appear to verify the content it's referencing. I can't see a mention of ReelStar or the token in that article. (this could be a translation thing, not sure)
  • [22] fails WP:UGC
[18] is unavailable where I am located so I was unable to check it.

That submission has already been deleted twice at AFD, so at least two fellows said to me I would try and find more reliable sources, instead of sources which used in former AfD. But I have no idea which resources was used in former AfD lol.
I tried to look up the page history so I could send you a link but it appears to be deleted, I'm not sure why. I have been able to find it on the internet archive though so hopefully that will help you, it looks quite up-to-date with the last available version. Unfortunately when page history is deleted here (as far as I'm aware) there's not a way to see it unless you're an administrator.
For finding sources I typically use Google or Google Scholar, there is a custom Google search engine here: User:Syced/Wikipedia Reference Search that is used to find more reliable sources.
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask :) Lewcm Talk to me! 12:37, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
Sounds too strict. I think I should abandon Wiki, mess..Look at Bybit. Go nominate it to deletion then! Primary sources? Compare my Bitget with Bybit :) By the way thank you for link where I can compare previous AfD content. My article completely different, I has'nt idea why reviewer said that I met same sources issues as former AfD.
Why I should follow reviewer's mood - I don't know. I follow guidelines and think I'm right and faith enough. Antonio Vinzaretti (talk) 12:47, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
Don't lose hope, you may need to change some things but I believe this article does have a good chance of being accepted when reviewer's recommendations have been done.
I'd recommend having a conversation with the user who reviewed your draft last over in the draft's talk page or their talk page to see how it can be improved as they'll have a better idea than me. Because it has been AFDd we need to ensure all bases are covered with policy so that it isn't deleted again, this may be why it appears quite strict. Lewcm Talk to me! 12:57, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm confused. Can you help? Antonio Vinzaretti (talk) 13:11, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Question regarding "Draft:Marek Kowalkiewicz (professor)" article

Hi Lewcm, thank you for reviewing my article. It is my first, and therefore my first rejection, too :)

The reason provided for the article not being accepted was that there was unsourced text in four sections. I have provided sources for three of these sections; however, I'm not sure what is needed for the "Poznań University of Economics and Business" one. Can you let me know what additional sourcing is required, please?

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! KWriteReturn (talk) 22:44, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi, sorry to be the one to reject your first article! The section that needed sourcing was the one in the Education section, specifically it was the first paragraph beginning with
Kowalkiewicz received a Master of Business Information Systems from Poznań University of Economics and Business
This text just needs something to confirm he got it, you could link a university website or news article, etc. If you have an existing reference that confirms this already, you can re-use that here too.
The article looks great overall, best of luck with your next submission :)
Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 23:03, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

A question regarding my article Draft:Airway_remodelling

Hello, I've noticed that you have rejected my article on airway remodelling (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Airway_remodelling) due to insufficient sources. Could you please point to which claims I make in the article that aren't supported by my sources, or which sources are not worth including?

I think I should be able to find more and/or better sources on this topic and get this fixed once I know what to focus on.

Thank you in advance! AufbauPrinciple (talk) 18:42, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi @AufbauPrinciple, my apologies the message our reviewing tool puts on the page is a bit vague, I should've left a comment as well.
My initial concerns were that the sources were reused too much, the actual references are fine though and I'd keep them all.
I have had a look through your other AFCs and other medical articles on the website and believe that my decision may have been incorrect, so I've accepted your article for mainspace. I'd like to apologise as I'm still new to AFCs & particularly medical AFCs, and we don't have any subject-specific guidelines for medical articles yet so I wasn't sure with it at first.
I would still recommend looking into additional sources such as news stories, etc. though as well to replace re-used sources. It can't hurt to have extra references :)
Many thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 19:43, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Thank you! I know some reviewers haven't noticed claims that I had forgotten to provide citations for in a previously published article; I'm actually glad that you pay attention to this as a reviewer. I will certainly look for additional sources. 🙂 AufbauPrinciple (talk) 20:30, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Thank you I appreciate that :) Lewcm Talk to me! 21:54, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
News stories are almost never acceptable sources for a medical article per WP:MEDPOP.
Lewcm, for medicine-related articles, you can always leave a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine, but as a general rule of thumb, if two review articles have ever been published (i.e., in the real world, because Notability is based on the existence of suitable sources, not on the state of sourcing in an article), it's probably notable. Also, there's no rule against re-using sources many times. I've seen the same source cited in an article for more than 50 statements. It's unusual to see more than five or ten, especially in a shorter article, but it's also 100% acceptable. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:40, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for mentioning this. In biomedical articles, it is common to reference one or a few large meta-analyses of the literature which themselves compile a lot of evidence. This can actually be more accurate than individual studies, though it will result in a smaller number of references. 🙂 AufbauPrinciple (talk) 20:58, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
The guideline at Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine) has a strong preference for secondary sources (systematic reviews, narrative reviews, meta-analyses, and upper-level medical textbooks). The main reason for that is accuracy. It's just too easy to cherry-pick the one study that claims whatever I want to believe, and "accidentally" ignore dozens of others, if people are citing individual experiments.
BTW, @AufbauPrinciple, anyone who is interested in Wikipedia's medical content is welcome to come hang out with us at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pharmacology and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:03, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for referring me to WikiProject Pharmacology. I'm still learning the ropes of editing and article creation. AufbauPrinciple (talk) 21:50, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
@WhatamIdoing Thanks for letting me know! I'm still new to this so the info is very much appreciated! I thought it wasn't typically accepted as I saw another editor a while back comment on an article for it. I'll make sure to remember that & add the link to the WProj to my notes :) Thanks, 21:58, 23 December 2023 (UTC) Lewcm Talk to me! 21:58, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

Your Specific Suggestions

Hello Lewcm, You recently rejected my draft of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ScopeMaster I was wondering what specific concerns you have or specific recommendations you might have for getting this approved. Many thanks Colin Colinrhammond (talk) 10:33, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Colinrhammond, my main concern is the quotes, they sound rather promotional in tone to me, more like testimonials you'd find on the company's website. I'd recommend removing the quotes and instead talk about what the program can do, then use the existing references.
For example: "Not only did I get a function point count, but it helped me to figure out how many programmers, business analysts and testers should work on the project"[REF] --> The software can calculate the number of programmers and testers the business should allocate to the project.[REF]
Hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 21:18, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Question from Baratang Miya (16:37, 2 January 2024)

Hi Mentor. I need to create a Wikipedia page about me. How do I go about it? --Baratang Miya (talk) 16:37, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Baratang Miya just to confirm are you talking about an article or a user page for yourself? I've included info about both.

Article
Creating an article about yourself would mean you'd have a conflict of interest (COI), so you'd need to read WP:COI and WP:ABOUTME. Your COI will need to be disclosed correctly, and I'd highly recommend creating your article through our WP:AFC process. Please note that you'll need to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for an article about you to be accepted.

User page
You can create a user page for yourself without any of the above issues, to do this click here. This page is shown when someone clicks on your name, but doesn't make an article about you if that's what you want. You can see my user page as an example.

Hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 19:35, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Bradley Tusk article

Hi Lewcm!

Basil with Bradley Tusk here. I had pinged you a while back on the Bradley Tusk Talk page but with all the end of year commotion, I wanted to make sure it did not slip by you unseen.

I had another suggestion to add some needed context to the Illinois subsection.

I will be happy to review any questions you have on the Talk Page! BasilAtTusk (talk) 19:58, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi @BasilAtTusk thanks for reaching back out and my apologies for not responding, end of year celebrations and uni work are crazy as always and I must've missed it, sorry!
I'm a brit myself and honestly have no idea what any of the "filing" stuff means in US law contexts, so I don't think I'm the best person to review this. I've opened it as a request so another editor can sort it out for you.
Many thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 21:13, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello Lewcm!I tried to create the wikipedia entry: Yuewen (Chinese Literature) four times without success. Articles for creation: Yuewen (China Literature Limited)

Hello Lewcm!

I tried to create the wikipedia entry: Yuewen (Chinese Literature) four times without success. Although I followed 'all four of these criteria' to find references to support the content of the article. Do you have any suggestions to help me create my wikipeidia article? Thanks a lot! JustinYuAu (talk) 04:04, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi @JustinYuAu, when reviewing the article I noticed a few issues with references.
  • Ref 5 & 7 are the same (you can re-use citations in the cite tool instead of re-creating the same one) and I believe fails WP:SIGCOV, that being said it should definitely be kept as it provides important context to the section of text it's referencing, but doesn't define notability.
  • Ref 1 & 2 also fails WP:SIGCOV as it's more of an overview of the company and doesn't define notability.
If there's any more articles that do more of a deep-dive into the company's history or what they do, that would be a great addition.
Hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 09:45, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi! Question regarding "Draft:SUN Mobility" article

Hi @Lewcm! Thank you so much for the helpful comments on the article sourcing. As you may see, I have removed sections that I had only heard of from the company's folks at their media round table and auto expo conversations in Delhi. Since some of that wasn't in the press yet (as pointed out by you), I have removed those sections of the article. It would be lovely if you could please review the article submission again please! Thank you so much, and wish you a lovely 2024! Eshshiv (talk) 04:57, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Eshshiv thanks for resolving the sourcing, the only concerns I have now is that some of the wording sounds promotional (like an advertisement), specific areas of concern are

Lead: that provides universal energy infrastructure and services to the transport sector enabling electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers and buses to be refuelled in a faster, cheaper, and more convenient way using battery swapping technology; thereby helping accelerate the mass adoption of electric vehicles globally, and transitioning to a sustainable, pollution-free future.

Offerings and Business Models: Enabled by a widespread battery swapping network of over 600 Swap Points across India, (I'd suggest maybe "SUN Mobility operates over 600 battery swapping points across India" or something similar instead? This text could also do with a reference). and users are assured of always receiving a fully charged battery pack that is constantly monitored for health and safety, in addition to regular and continuous upgrades to safety and range. (Keeping the monitoring, and upgrades will be fine, it just needs re-wording, maybe something like "Users are able to receive fully charged battery packs that SUN monitors for safety and range.")

Would it be possible to also reference SUN Mobility has over 60 patents..., a reference to the patent office's list would suffice here (sorry I'm not sure of which one it is or I'd add it myself)

I apologise for not mentioning this early and delaying the approval of the article. The article as a whole is good, and after the advertisement-sounding text is re-written I'd be happy to approve it :) Many thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 11:09, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks a ton for your helpful inputs ! I have made the changes accordingly, and have also removed the line on patents due to a lack of a single source from the patents office. According to the patents lead at the organization, the patents have been registered across several geographies, and hence do not show up on a common database yet.
I hope this suffices for an approval! :) Thanks again for all your help! Cheers! Eshshiv (talk) 10:43, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi @Eshshiv, I've approved the article :) I've just moved some bits around (nothing removed) to improve readability as well, you can see my changes here. Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 21:26, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi @Lewcm! Hope you're having a lovely new year! After you approved the article, someone else decided to move it back into draft space citing a lack of enough sources :( I have reworked it and added a few more sources (almost exhaustively, this time!) and published the changes. But now, I seem to have inadvertently removed something that lets me submit the article for review again! Can you help me with this please? Or, it would be wonderful if you could review it yourself for approval of the article! I look forward to hearing from you, thanks in advance! :) Eshshiv (talk) 09:23, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Eshshiv, sorry to hear that the page got draftified. It is currently in mainspace, would you like it moving back to draftspace so it can be reviewed or it can be left in mainspace? Since my approval was reverted I'm going to leave it to other editors if you did want to move it back to draftspace. The new refs do looks good to me though :) Hope you're having a great new year too! Lewcm Talk to me! 09:57, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick response! I found a way to fix the error, and it's now back to being a proper article! If you're satisfied with the way it looks now, I'm happy to let it stay in the mainspace! Thank you so much, again! Cheers! Eshshiv (talk) 10:01, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
I personally think it's fine to stay in mainspace, my only minor concerns are sourcing for the paragraph Battery Swapping as a technology... which I've tagged in the article. I've also rewritten a small portion of the products and services section to hopefully prevent any issues with promo concerns. Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 10:08, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

IEEE 693

Hello,

I wanted to discuss your review of the page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:IEEE_693

I see that you rejected it, and I'm definitely confused. It was rejected a couple days ago too with the same generic message (not enough info, not enough sources), so I had added multiple well-respected sources and much more details about the topic itself, but it still got rejected. I'm not sure if it's being rejected because of something that's wrong that i put in the article or for some other reason altogether... Vsriv90 (talk) 17:34, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Vsriv90 apologies for not adding a more in-depth comment to the AFC submission and thanks for reaching out.
The specific section that led me to decline the article is the "Contents" section as it is unsourced, if sources could be added here that would greatly improve the article.
Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 20:30, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for reaching back so quickly.
I added that section directly from the norm.
The norms are usually sourced from the websites and engineering companies, and one has to pay for them. I have access to them from work, but giving a link to them directly might constitute an infringement of privacy.
I only added that section because the last reviewer said that the page might not have enough content. But truth be told, I'd rather delete the whole section than add more to it. Vsriv90 (talk) 21:11, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Ah makes sense. Do you mean the content is directly copied from the norm? If so, it'd need to be removed or rewritten per WP:COPYVIO. If not, I'm happy to help find references for it if you'd like, I think it is a good section to keep. Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 21:30, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
I mean, any list of topics from any book has to be copied directly from the book, by definition :-)
But yes, please feel free to add for further references about it. I think it'll help seismic engineers of the future, and hopefully I and others can keep adding to the norm to make it more in-depth over time... Vsriv90 (talk) 07:31, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Yes sorry I meant if it’s like a direct copypaste of a summary section in the book for example, a list is fine :) I’ll have a look for references Lewcm Talk to me! 08:53, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks! I think if you Google IEEE 693, you'll find tens of thousands of references from highly respected academic/manufacturer websites, but finding a reference to cite for the contents might still be hard; after all, the norms makes their money by keeping it away from the unpaid users on the internet... Vsriv90 (talk) 08:43, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I'm able to access the spec via my academic institution so I've been able to verify and cite it, you're able to cite restricted documents if you flag them as requiring a subscription/limited access. I've added a few citations that covers the areas that I was concerned with. Hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 11:12, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

Cyclecar manufacturers

Hi, I notice you have proposed deletion of the articles on the cyclecar makes Baker & Dale, Bell and Broadway. As there are dozens of other equally sketchy articles in this list, I wonder if you are going to go on to remove all the brief articles that are linked to the list of UK cyclecar manufacturers, or if there is something special about the ones you have targeted. I should point out that I submitted an article on the Lington cyclecar recently and it has been turned down as insufficiently notable. I guess the same applies to the majority of articles in this list. RoachPeter (talk) 18:47, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi, they're just ones that I saw that's why they're specifically prod'd. I have been thinking though, I'm going to remove the prods and start a discussion on merging the articles (I've done this in an AFD for a cyclecar), since individually I don't think they're notable via references/sigcov to have their own articles but they might be better together in one article. If you go into Cyclecar you'll see a lot have been deleted already, perhaps merging might avoid this. Lewcm Talk to me! 22:26, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. I can see the attraction of merging all the makes, though I don't have the expertise to judge how feasible that is. It would be a pity to lose what little we have on these forgotten makes, but I can see that many of the individual articles are not up to present-day WP standards. Draft: Multivista

Hi lewcm,

I hope that all is well!

I am referencing the Multivista draft (Draft:Multivista) as well as your Comment: "Please add additional sources to the "Products and Services" section, also consider replacing primary sources with secondary sources if possible."

I have added additional sources to the Products and Services section: is there anything you need from me to receive approval?

I am resubmitting now.

2024 Memphis Tigers football team

Hi Lewcm,

I saw that you rejected the article I made (2024 Memphis Tigers football team), since there weren't enough sources. It is a article about a sports season that isn't happening until later this year, and many others have been made with little to no sources, just like mine. I hope that you can see why my article doesn't have many sources and accept it.

Thanks, TakiLakjsdf (talk) 23:20, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi @TakiLakjsdf, when reviewing articles via we have to follow the AFC GNG guidelines which have tightened up over the years, as a reviewer I am supposed to only look at a draft on it's own merits and not compare to any existing articles. If there's any more secondary sources that could be added I'd happily accept the article. Unfortunately if existing articles came through AFC with little to no sources they'd also be declined, but I can't compare to them during the process. It might be too soon if there aren't more sources unfortunately. Thanks, Lewcm Talk to me! 08:39, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
Is there any good examples of secondary sources for my topic (I'm not asking for sources)? TakiLakjsdf (talk) 18:42, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi, we accept a large range of sources as long as they’re reliable, independent of the subject, and have significant coverage of the topic. There’s more information on this page: WP:RS hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 17:36, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Online bullying

Hi there, you kindly helped out with rectifying some libellous accusations that were on my biog page. Since then another fan has gone on and made it worse, 'quoting' material, but implying the same accusations. As these editors seem to insist on trying to undermine my work, should I suggest that this is taken to some sort of arbitration? Birkenhead01 (talk) 13:34, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I've had a look at the edits to the article and can see that it's now been removed by another editor.
You can request page protection at WP:RPP, this will mean that only experienced editors can change the page and can help cut back on the vandalism, this is usually the best route.
You can also contact the volunteer response team at info-en-o@wikimedia.org for more help/info, make sure to add a link to the article if you do email. I'll keep an eye on the page as well.
Hope this helps, Lewcm Talk to me! 14:35, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi there,
That was certainly removed from the lead paragraph. However, the editor has now re-published information that had been removed some months ago. And the mention of bullying- which was proved to be untrue - has been deliberately mentioned here in a sort of 'no smoke without fire' way. I think this is at least harassment, if not online bullying.
O'Connor's tenure as executive producer has generally been received as negative by viewers and former cast alike, primarily his decision to kill off sisters Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell in a swimming pool freak accident which elicited strong reactions from viewers and has been regarded as one of the "worst decisions in [soap opera] history". Barbara Windsor, who played the sister's on-screen aunt, described the decision to Hellomagazine as "a mistake." whilst former executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins also criticised the sisters' axing, adding that he was "really sad" to see them go. His decision to recast original character Michelle Fowler to actress Jenna Russell was criticised by viewers, who argued that the recast "just [wasn't] working". In June 2017, The Sun reported that O'Connor had been axed from EastEnders for bullying cast members as well as the soap's drop in ratings, however O'Connor denied this and The Sun were ordered to pay "substantial damages". Hello there,
I'd be wary about making any changes on a page about myself. But I see that the editor who was making these accusations has been blocked for having multiple identities and as making malicious comments on other pages, too. But I could just cut the lines which are problematic, without adding anything? Would that be acceptable? Birkenhead01 (talk) 12:25, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
Ah, I see that the page can't be edited, which is a good thing. But it means the accusations the blocked editor has made remain. I think the following paragraph should be removed, if that's possible. Everything remaining is the page is factual and verifiable from trusted sources. Is that possible?

discussion about improving and publishing the article Draft:CRUVI

Hi Lewcm, sorry for delay, but I am sick since 4 weeks. I have revised the article Draft:CRUVI. I suggested to rename the article from CRUVI to CRUVI interface. Please compare this article with the article Pmod Interface! CRUVI is an interface with more functionality and data throughput compared to Pmod. I have tried to improve the article, see version history version=1194131929 from 2024-01-07. I would appreciate any further suggestions to improve and publish this article, and I am grateful for any help and support from your side. Thank you. Hi, sorry for taking so long to get back to you I've had exams this past week. The improvements look good, are there any news stories that talk about the interface you could add as references? I'd also be happy to rename the draft for you if you'd like :) Encoded Talk to me! 09:50, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

I hope all is well.

Referencing the Manatal draft (Draft:Manatal) you reviewed. I just wanted to confirm your point of view that the sources are not strong enough to qualify for the article to be published? Toyota C transmission

We need your help, this article is the only reference on the internet left. There are no references, as there are no longer sources for this information. The forums are all gone relating to this. Toyota has removed all refences from their websites. There are no primary sources left. This article is the only reference and can only be contributed to if it is a live page. So I request that this is allowed to be re-instated while two of us scrape together the only information we have left. We desperately want to keep the right to repair alive for this transmission. Please help us. Scumspeedy (talk) 18:04, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

@Scumspeedy: Since articles are governed by the CC-by-SA license, nothing stops you from copying the content and publishing it on some other website, with appropriate attribution, of course. An admin, if asked, will likely be willing to assist you in recovering "deleted" pages for that purpose. That being said, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a collection of manuals. Kleuske (talk) 18:09, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Scumspeedy, if there's no more sources left then I'm afraid there's not much I can do to help, as the article won't pass Wikipedia's general notability guidelines which are required for article inclusion. If there's old sources that aren't available any more but you know where they were you can use https://web.archive.org to reference them. You mentioned there aren't any primary sources, are there any secondary sources? They can be used and are often preferred. Encoded Talk to me! 23:07, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that in fact, there is an official website for the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica, which is mentioned in my bio,(as no official link found). I do not know if the website needs to be in English or Spanish. I am just the subject of a bio someone else created where they mention such organization. When I visited the page, I found a few issues that I was hoping could be fixed. The official site for the Orchestra is : https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orquesta_Sinf%C3%B3nica_Nacional_(Costa_Rica)

Question regarding "Draft:Marek Kowalkiewicz (professor)" article

Hi @Lewcm, I hope your exams went well!

I have made the changes you suggested. Regarding the award of his Masters degree, Professor Kowalkiewicz has updated his profile on his university's website to confirm that he received it. Will this suffice? If not, I could upload/link a scanned copy of his degree but I'm not sure if that is acceptable. Could you let me know? I hae provided a link to our last correspondence, as the conversation had been archived. Please let me know if there is anything else you require?

Hi, thank you!
That source looks fine to me! For future reference when it comes to uploading degrees I'm not sure on the copyright of that, I'm assuming we'd need the permission of the person whose degree it is and/or the university. If you'd like to know for sure you're probably best asking someone over at WP:HELPDESK.
Unfortunately I'm unable to review over the weekend due to work, but if you'd like to put it back up for review and another editor doesn't get to it before me I'll happily take a look on Monday :)
Thanks, Encoded Talk to me! 09:36, 27 January 2024 (UTC) (Lewcm)
Great, thank you! I'm learning as I go and appreciate your advice. I'd be grateful if you could take a look at the page for me again on Monday and let me know if there's anything else you need before it can be published. Cheers, Kate KWriteReturn (talk) 02:26, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi Lew, I have now made all the changes you required to the following article - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Marek_Kowalkiewicz_(professor). Is there anything else you need before it can be published? Cheers, Kate KWriteReturn (talk) 00:48, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi I'm so sorry for not getting back to you, University decided to get crazy this week, I've not had chance to have a look to be honest. As long as the changes I've requested are done it looks good to me. Unfortunately I'm not going to have time this week to look over it, so I'll leave it open for another reviewer. Sorry, Encoded Talk to me! 16:42, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi Lew, sorry to hear that uni's been crazy this week. There's no rush on my end, so I'm happy for you to take a look when things quieten down next week. KWriteReturn (talk) 04:31, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Lewcm, hope you're well and that uni has settled down. Have you had a chance to review the changes I made to the article, as per your comments? Please let me know if there's anything else I need to provide. Thank you :)
Cheers

Hi @KWriteReturn, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Are there any refs you could use for these sections:
  • He completed his PhD in Information Systems at PUEB in 2006[...]
  • Before receiving his PhD in 2006, Kowalkiewicz relocated to Beijing to become a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research Asia[...]
Otherwise looks great and I'm happy to approve for mainspace!

Edit: I found one for MRA and my computer just didn't want to update the page for the PHD ref! Page is accepted :)

Question from Tarapriya (16:12, 18 February 2024)

Hi, thanks for being here to help. Actually I'm trying to upload image on certain pages but everytime I upload something then others deletes the editing I've done by saying that I did copyright infringement whereas I always give credits to the actual owners of the images I upload here though wikimeadia commons. Can you please explain why this is happening and what can I do? Also can you please tell me how to unprotect a page? --Tarapriya (talk) 16:13, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi, @Tarapriya, welcome to Wikipedia!
The allowance for Wikipedia images depends on the license it was released under. Even though credit can be given, if the owner of the images have licensed them with specific licenses (see commons:Licensing). If you could give me a link to the image I'll be able to take a look and advise further.
To unprotect a page you need to request an administrator to do this, usually pages are protected because people have vandalised it recently, you can request un-protection at WP:RPP - please note: you'll need to prove that the vandalism has stopped or there's a genuine need for un-protection. Unfortunately, editing does not meet this requirement. If you'd like to edit a page you can't currently access you'll need to go onto the page's talk page and request that a user who can edit it makes the changes for you. Please see WP:MAKINGEREQ.
Hope this helps, Encoded Talk to me! 21:43, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

https://www.justshowbiz.net/dhruv-tara-9th-january-2024-written-update/

I'm trying to add the image which is in this article on a Wikipedia page by giving credits but everytime it's being removed and I'm not understanding why it's happening. Tarapriya (talk) 14:24, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi, to upload an image to Wikipedia you need the permission of the person who took (or owns) the image, it's likely that this website does not own it. Images are typically deleted to protect Wikipedia from being taken to court over copyright issues. If you can find the original source of the image and find that it is published under an acceptable license then it can be uploaded. Thanks, Encoded Talk to me! 18:05, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Question from Flexie mutush (11:01, 19 February 2024)

How do you earn from editing? --Flexie mutush (talk) 11:01, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Question from Герман Немов (20:22, 22 February 2024)

Dear sir Lew

Please explain why my edits of article Animated series were reversed because I don't understand what did I do wrong. --Герман Немов (talk) 20:22, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Герман Немов, I've had a look at the page's history and it appears to have been reverted by an automated system called ClueBot NG.
Unfortunately I can't tell you the exact reason because only ClueBot knows, and I can't see an exact reason in the page history. It might have flagged this edit due to a large deletion in the edit. This system is intended to revert vandalism, if you believe this was a false-positive (meaning the bot was wrong, it sometimes happens) you should see this page for help.

Question from Bernardino07 (17:46, 23 February 2024)

How do I start here in editing? --Bernardino07 (talk) 17:46, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Hey, welcome to Wikipedia!
If you're looking to learn how to edit Wikipedia the best place to start is WP:TUTORIAL, if you already know the basics then you can find tasks that need completing over at WP:TASKS, you can also look for articles related to something you're interested in, or in your local area, and make some updates or changes as you see fit.
Make sure to also take a look at WP:RS for information about references, and remember to be WP:BOLD when editing!
Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions please feel free to send me another message :) Encoded Talk to me! 22:43, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Question from ASwiergocki (22:06, 23 February 2024)

Hey, so maybe this is a bit of an unusual question, but there is a section in an article that I belive to be misleading, I am not sure whether or not it is supposed to be like this. I have made a thread on the talk section about it, but recived no responces. Do you believe I should edit it in a way that I belive would make it not misleading, or just leave it? Thanks! --ASwiergocki (talk) 22:06, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I'm assuming this is regarding Sejm per your recent message on the talk page there.
If you'd like more Wikipedians to join the conversation you can place the "help me" template above the message, or pop a message on the talk page of people who commonly edit the page asking them to give their opinions. You can also put a message at Wikipedia:Village pump or Wikipedia:Teahouse if this doesn't help.
If you'd like to though you can be WP:BOLD and change it if you see fit, I don't know much about Sejm so I can't advise which route to take - it's up to you! You'll never get in trouble for improving an article, I believe it's always better to change it than to leave it if you think something is incorrect.
Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions or need any help please do let me know :)

About editing a protected page

I want to edit https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhruv_Tara_%E2%80%93_Samay_Sadi_Se_Pare this protected page but I don't how to do it. Can you please help or make changes in this protected page the way I want? Tarapriya (talk) 09:34, 24 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Tarapriya, please use WP:ERW to request edits to pages that are protected, this is so that there is a history in the page itself for attribution which is required for Wikipedia's licensing. If you reply here when it's done I'll be happy to take a look.

Question from Tarapriya (11:50, 26 February 2024)

Who are able to edit a protected wikipedia page? And how to become an administrator here on wiki? --Tarapriya (talk) 11:50, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi, that depends on the level of protection. For example, Anyone who is autoconfirmed can edit semiprotected pages, and anyone who is extended confirmed can edit extended protected pages, but only administrators (with exceptions) can edit full or template protected pages.
You can learn more about this at WP:PP. You'll be able to edit more pages depending on how long you've been on Wikipedia and how many edits you've made, you can check if you're autoconfirmed here or extended confirmed here. You're given these roles automatically when you reach the criteria for them.
You can learn how to become an administrator at WP:CANDIDATE.

Hi @Nelinatural, welcome to Wikipedia! If you're looking to create an article you can do this at Wikipedia:Article_wizard. If you're new to the site I'd recommend doing the WP:TUTORIAL task first. Thanks, Encoded Talk to me! 23:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Question from Герман Немов (21:51, 2 March 2024)

Dear sir Lew

Please explain how to determine the reliability of a source on the example of Cayman iNews from the site https://www.ieyenews.com. --Герман Немов (talk) 21:51, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

For the site mentioned, I'd be cautious to call it reliable. The website's news stories aren't attributed to specific people, so it could be news reposted from other sources, and the source itself is unknown and therefore can't be proven reliable. WP:RS says reliable sources may be published materials with a reliable publication process, authors who are regarded as authoritative in relation to the subject, or both. These qualifications should be demonstrable to other people. Since there is no way to see this publication process, or who wrote the articles, I wouldn't count it as a reliable source. I'd recommend reading WP:NEWSORG for more info on this. Thanks, Encoded Talk to me! 23:35, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for the comprehensive answer. Герман Немов (talk) 11:10, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

Question from Ftbaker (10:55, 4 March 2024)

Hi there, Lew! I run a Q&A website for physics questions (askthephysicist.com), mostly directed to laypersons. I was answering a question relating to gravitational time dilation and, as I often do, was using Wikipedia to help me better understand the topic. I try to make sure that I thoroughly understand my answer before I post it. Therefore I was trying to reproduce the graph shown near the end of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_time_dilation--I could not. After some further research I found that my calculation was more likely to be correct. Rather than my having to go into details, you can read my full answer at https://www.askthephysicist.com/ask_phys_q&a.html#gravdilation. Hoping for your guidance about what to do. Thanks --Ftbaker (talk) 10:55, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Ftbaker, welcome to Wikipedia! It might be best to open a thread on the talk page for Gravitational time dilation. Alternatively you can follow the WP:BOLD guideline and replace the image you believe to be incorrect with your graph if you're willing to release it to Wikipedia (or another correct one if it's released under an accepted license), if you do decide to do this and it's reverted, then please open a thread on that talk page. Hope this helps, Encoded Talk to me! 11:13, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
I withdraw my proposed correction. I was misled by an AI error, several incorrect internet posts, undue confidence in myself to be able to do the GR calculation! It is an excellent example of how incorrect an internet post can be and how AI probably learns from its memorizing everything on the web. I did more research because it seemed extremely odd that the geosynchronous orbit and the zero dilation orbit would be the same and the fact that my incorrect answer was about 10% smaller than the actual geosynchronous orbit. I believe that there is nothing significantly different from the other Wikipedia article on both relativistic and kinematic time dilation, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dilation Ftbaker (talk) 16:48, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
No worries, thanks for letting me know! Encoded Talk to me! 23:15, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

Question from Tarapriya (14:19, 5 March 2024)

I'm unable to upload files on Wikimeadia Commons by giving proper credits. As a result, I'm blocked for a month from editing. I struggled a lot to understand the Wikimeadia Commons policies but now I'm disappointed. I don't think I can upload any file by giving proper credits so can you upload the files I want to upload by giving credits properly please? I'll provide the link of the websites from where I got the files. --Tarapriya (talk) 14:19, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi, what files were you trying to upload and what credits were you giving? Could you give me an example here. Thanks, Encoded Talk to me! 23:14, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
I had uploaded a picture which I had found from here https://www.instagram.com/p/ClOJrq-NiYX/?igsh=bm1wcHExbTFiMW41}}

I had provided the link of this post in the source and author option, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International yet I'm blocked from editing for a month. I'm not understanding why despite of giving credits, this happened. Now please can you upload this image with proper credits which I had wanted to upload in Riya Sharma Wikipedia page. Tarapriya (talk) 10:38, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I can't see any indication on the post that it is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International, please can you tell me where there is proof of this or why you think it is licensed? Thanks, Encoded   💬 12:05, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
As much I know, Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International licence lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon our work and the image I had uploaded on Wikimeadia Commons is uploaded by an actress on her official Instagram account and
people all over the internet platforms are massively using the contents she shares on her account and she doesn'say anything so anyone is free to use the contents she posts on her account that's why I thought it's licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International but there's no license or proof of it. Honestly I'm not understanding that what kind of images I can upload and how to give proper credits to the owners. Please help as my mentor? Tarapriya (talk) 16:48, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, you can not "pick" a license for an image, the owner of the image (in this case Riya Sharma) has to license it, we cannot use it if it is not licensed. Whilst other places may use it and credit it, officially she (or the photographer) owns the copyright to it, so we cannot use it unless she (or the photographer) explicitly releases it under a license.
Wikimedia Commons is only for free images released under an applicable license, since this image was not released under a license as far as I can tell, it cannot be uploaded there. See the second image at https://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/space-science/euclid-spacecraft-images for an example of a freely licensed image.
You can upload non-free images to Wikipedia using the file upload wizard however it must meet the criteria in the non-free content policy. Hope this helps, Encoded   Talk 💬 14:35, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
If i can upload non-free images to Wikipedia using the file upload wizard then can I upload the image of Riya Sharma which Instagram link I had shared previously and you had said that you can't see any indication on the post that it is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International? I've read the c
criteria in the non-free content poy and I think that image Mets with the 10 criteria for uploading non-free content. And if I still can't upload that image then can I upload [[2]] the image which is used in this above article? You gave an example of which are free contents so isn't this one free content too? I'm sorry. I know I'm bothering a lot but I'm very new here and struggling to understand everything properly that's why asking so much. Hope you understand. Thank you for helping since the beginning. Tarapriya (talk) 08:58, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, both the images you've supplied do not meet the non-free content criteria due to "No free equivalent. Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose.", since a free image could be created by a photographer in the future a non-free image cannot be uploaded at this time. (see WP:NFC unacceptable use section).
The image you've supplied in your recent message is not a free image, in the example I provided the image was captioned with "Artist’s impression of the Euclid spacecraft observing the dark Universe. Credit: ESA/Euclid/Euclid Consortium/NASA. Background galaxies: NASA, ESA, and S. Beckwith (STScI) and the HUDF Team, CC BY-SA 3.0 IGO" specifically the CC BY-SA 3.0 IGO is the license, which is required. The article you've linked does not contain any credit for the image and therefore cannot be proven to Wikipedia and cannot be used. Alternatively, the copyright holder for the image can contact the VRT to release the image to Wikipedia.
I did have a quick look around to see if I could find anything and I came across this commons:File:Riya Sharma.jpg. I'm not sure if this is the same person, if it is it can be used.
Hope this helps, Encoded   Talk 💬 10:00, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
No the file you came across isn't the Riya Sharma whose image I want to upload. Can I upload a screenshot taken from an interview available on a YouTube channel? Otherwise I'm not understanding from where I can find free content of Riya Sharma because she's an actress and as her fan, I only have content which I've found either from Instagram or Google or YouTube. Tarapriya (talk) 13:55, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, unfortunately this would not be considered free content unless it is released under a license. You can put an image request up for someone to take one. Otherwise, there's not much else you can do apart from wait for one to become available. Encoded   Talk 💬 17:51, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

Question from Герман Немов (23:26, 19 March 2024)

Dear sir Lew

Please explain how to determine the reliability of a non-English source on the example of BRE from the site https://bigenc.ru. I also ask you to specify, is it permissible to add of the link to a non-English source in the form of the ordinary link? --Герман Немов (talk) 23:26, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi, apologies for taking a few days to get back to you. Using non-english sources is allowed. Unfortunately as I don't speak the language I'm unable to determine reliability, but WP:RS is a good guide for determining general reliability. Please also see WP:RSUE for more information on using non-english sources. Hope this helps, Encoded   Talk 💬 09:34, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
I'm sorry for clarification, but do I understand correctly that this source (https://bigenc.ru) is considered reliable (the link to the discussion) for most topics (animated series for example)? I also ask you to give an example of any correct reference to any non-english source.
P. S. I also apologize for incorrectness of the abbrevation (BRE instead GRE). Герман Немов (talk) 17:56, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, no need to apologise it's all good! After having a brief look through the discussion you've linked (thank you for that!) I would say avoid using it on geographic articles, political articles, conflicts, and contentious topics (see WP:CTOP for a list of these) as the general consensus appears to be against that due to bias.
Arts, literature, culture, etc. including the animated series article you've linked appears to be generally regarded as reliable to be used.
With that being said the discussion itself wasn't formal so doesn't explicitly say either way, it's just a collection of opinions. Use of the website as a source is not restricted as far as I'm aware, but it may be reverted if placed on the topics I've listed in the first paragraph if other editors determine it unreliable, I'm suggesting this purely based on what I've seen other editors say and the reliable sources policy, but you can use it where you see fit.
Hope this helps, Encoded   Talk 💬 23:09, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for the exhaustive answer to my first question. But I didn't understand, is it permissible to add of the reference to a non-English source in the form of the ordinary link? If this is not so, I ask you to give an example of any correct reference to any non-English source, because it would really help me. In this case the source language can be any (Chinese, Ukrainian, Turkish, Swedish, Russian, Romanian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Hebrew, French, Spanish, German, Arabic).
P. S. I will not write on contentious topics, because I don't want to offend anyone. Герман Немов (talk) 10:51, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, apologies if I misunderstood, non language links are allowed in an 'External Links' section at the end of the article. The link should be tagged with {{In lang}} For example:
[https://bigenc.ru/ BigEnc] {{In lang|ru}}
Shows up as
BigEnc (in Russian)
You can see WP:NONENGEL for more info. Hope this helps, Encoded   Talk 💬 14:28, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
I'm sorry but you misunderstood me. Above I wrote about references to the non-English sources. An example of exactly this sort of reference might help me. So the example must be of a kind[1], but the source should be non-English. Герман Немов (talk) 17:23, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Emanuel School logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

You can then save the draft and resubmit. There's a full guide here. Hope this helps, Encoded  Talk 💬 07:16, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
