I reverted your edit because 1) you had your edit signature in it, which is unnecessary for articles, and 2) you inserted a non-WP:NPOV (Neutral point of view) statement in the declawing section. - Hi, I too welcome you warmly to Wikipedia. I removed your recent addition to the introduction of the Cat article. I think the addition was too detailed for the introduction. Also, can you be a bit more careful with your grammar and spelling, please? Articles on Wikipedia are expected to be well-written. "Cats have developed more vocalizations when they became domestication." is not a well-formed sentence, and if you mean what I think then you imply that wild cats are more vocal since the domestication of the cat, which seems questionable. Also, "They are aware that humands [do you mean "humans"?] communicate more vocally than with body language," - how do you know that? Isn't it crediting a cat with human powers of social perception? Cats and Vocalisation edit
Hi Emmajaneyoung,
I'm curious as to your edit suggesting that cats have become more vocal since domestication. However, since this isn't currently from a verifiable source of information, it has been removed by another editor. We've started a short discussion about the matter on Talk:Cat, I'd be grateful if you could perhaps join us there and explain the source of this information, and perhaps suggest a reference we could check on it.
Unreferenced facts aren't supported on Wikipedia (see WP:V and WP:NOR), and tolerance is understandably extremely small on high-profile, generally stable, featured articles such as Cat.

- Good job! There might have been one spelling mistake, but otherwise great. I added a couple of more common items that cats eat and also added a reference. It's a good idea when adding things to articles on Wiki to also include a reference from a reliable source (govt agency, respected newspaper, etc.). If there is no reference another editor can take it down without explanation - just saying that there is no reference, so he doesn't believe it. To find references, you can just enter the search terms in Google - for this I entered - cat pica - and tons of articles came up. Bob98133 (talk) 13:58, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
