Rex Hunt source

You accused me of not using a source. I put a source from his OFFICIAL WEBSITE. Read it again. I've returned it for now. Thanks. 60.224.160.185 (talk) 23:05, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

help/suggestions

Hello WikiPuppies,

I have modified some words on ivsEdits Article page adding some references like video editing software and non-linear editing system. Moreover I tried to check if was possible to remove concerns from the article. Could you help me suggesting the type of changes required to remove concerns on this article? Thank you for your time.

Vandalism to My User Talk Page

A new user User:Starfox6420 (red link) has vandalized the top of my user talk page and placed a mocking barnstar at the bottom. I assume this user made an edit as an IP user that I reverted as vandalism. Based on this conduct, I must have been right. In any event, I do not know what prompted this or when and where it may have originated. I also am not sure whether to report this to the AIV noticeboard as vandalism or to take some other action. Can you help with this or advise me of what to do? Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 03:47, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi. My typical course of action is to "revert, warn, ignore": revert the edit(s), issue a warning (this one would work well here), and then go back to editing. If they vandalize again, rinse and repeat with the next level warning until you reach level 4, after which an AIV report is warranted. As for where it originated...who knows, but they certainly don't intend to edit constructively. Hope this helps. :) WikiPuppies bark dig 04:02, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. In the interest of full disclosure, I just asked Materialscientist about this as well since I became unsure when you could reply and I did not want to leave it hanging overnight. I will place the warning as you suggest. Donner60 (talk) 04:14, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
As it turns out, you caught me just before I went to bed. :) Cheers. WikiPuppies bark dig 04:16, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Thanks. And thanks for fixing my user talk page while I dithered a little. I think it adds a showing of the seriousness of the matter when another editor also takes action and gives warnings. I also have warned the vandal about this. I used a version of template 2 just to be able to have a good case if he acts two more times. Donner60 (talk) 04:46, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Rugby union positions

Explain why my edits are unconstructive. Explain why you are more of an expert on rugby union positions. Props primarily play in one of the two propping positions, which are very different. All my edits are correct. You are in the wrong. It seems to me if anything you are REMOVING VALID INFORMATION from Wikipedia and thusly doing a DISSERVICE to people who might be interested.

As I have already explained, it was a simple mistake. I have reverted myself. WikiPuppies bark dig 14:26, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Trouted

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

For removing my comments at UAA and turning them into your own. I would appreciate it if you would paste your comment underneath mine as I did so to your comment about user:ManagementOne. Wikipedia is no fun when you get 3 edit Conflicts in a row :/ MM (Report findings) (Past espionage) 21:11, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

I wasn't actually intending to refactor your comments. We just happened to be writing the same thing at the same time. My apologies. WikiPuppies bark dig 21:13, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Heh. no problem. I normally wouldn't be hanging around Wiki at this time anyway (10PM) but Twitter was having Server problems and when that happens WP is my first base of boredom stopping. Just a case of bad timing, buuut it's all good now. happy Commenting amigo, oh and keep up the good work doing puppy things. Heh. MM (Report findings) (Past espionage) 21:20, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.

IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.

Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.

Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions

We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:

Views/Day
Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
Quality
Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.

The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:

Content
Is more content needed?
Headings
Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
Images
Is the number of illustrative images about right?
Links
Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
Sources
For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
