Advertising edit

Please understand that Wikipedia is not the place to advertise your software. Please find somewhere else to do that. AlistairMcMillan 14:35, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also to answer your specific query, the result of the AFD was "rename and cleanup." Not split. AlistairMcMillan 14:40, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Furthermore, if you want to understand why that decision was reached, please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Particularly the section headed "Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links, images, or media files". AlistairMcMillan 14:47, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please, please, please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Specifically: ... Wikipedia articles are not: 1. Mere collections of external links or Internet directories... AlistairMcMillan 20:12, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Magicmp3tagger.jpg edit

The file File:Magicmp3tagger.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
