{{helpme}}

I want help with my Orchestra Company article! I need to link it to the Jeunesses Musicales International wiki entry. And I need to make sure it doesn't get deleted - but I don't have enough time to go through the whole adoption process!

Thanks!

Adoption isn't required on Wikipedia, it's optional. The problem with your article is that it is a copyright violation. Please read the links below to learn how to write an article. Cheers! Prince of Canada t | c 12:05, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adoption edit

I'd happily adopt you although I'm really only interested in folk who are wishing to stick around. Two of my current adoptees are the definition of inactive much to the displeasure of me since I've put a lot of work into helping them —— RyanLupin(talk) 07:53, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, no problem. Feel free to read through my adoption page and if you're still seeking adoption, get back to me and I'll piece together your subpage, regards —— RyanLupin(talk) 15:27, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deletion edit

I can't really restore the orchestra article since it was deleted as a copyright violation of the orchestra's website. Unless you can show that the website has licensed its content under the GFDL or public domain, it cannot be used, and must be written from scratch.

There are other issues: the article is basically promotional, not an encyclopaedia article, and although the orchestra may meet the notability guidelines, it lacks independent evidence to show that it does so and to support the spammy claims.

Since you appear to be involved with this organisation, you should consider whether you are the best person to write this article. 15:56, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
