May 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Fawzia of Egypt has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. If you are going to undo the edits on the muslim brotherhood article please provide reasons for doing so. As for the reasons why i edited the page, i believed that teh article was missing certain things such as not mentioning that the Muslim brotherhood has renounced violence in the 1970's. Secondly i dont think we should insert our opinion into a objective article by calling the MB a radical movement. That is definitely biased POV pushing. Kash545 (talk) 17:22, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Lapr 11633526 38470.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Lapr 11633526 38470.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

From first glance I can't tell what's wrong, can you enlighten me?--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 14:43, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please be consistent with this claim from your own userpage: "This user doesn't care what your "ancestries" are, this user likes people for what they are and not because of a place of birth!", and quit removing sourced information about a person's ancestry. About Metropolitan areas edit

Dear sir As regard metropolitan areas, I wonder if you know that Mansoura and Talka are at the same place and that they are only divided by the river Nile, so they together (along with some minor villiges) form a metropolitan area.

As regard Port Said the condition is the same (Port Fouad separated by Suez canal) As regard Suez the condition is the same (Port Tawfik) Hope to read your reply soon.

Warning edit

Please do bother and read the talk page of articles you change!--Pejman47 (talk) 21:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Khoikhoi 23:12, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Abu Musa edit

Your welcome. I am always happy to help solve/settle a dispute. Of course, the dispute has just begun. We will have to wait until other editors reply to the comments on the talk page. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 03:20, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

World Heritage Sites edit

As shown in the footnote to the World Heritage Site infobox, the Regions are defined by UNESCO. There are, for this purpose, no such regions as North Africa, Mediterranean etc. Vilĉjo (talk) 19:03, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:Edit summaries edit

Please use them! Johnbod (talk) 21:12, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks - just "iw" or eg "iw;es" is fine for interwiki additions. It saves having to check the diff on people's watchlists. Johnbod (talk) 21:31, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Al Marj (city) edit

Al Marj is the BGN standard. (Do a GNS search at http://earth-info.nga.mil/gns/html/index.html). Older archaeological reports use El Merj. El Marj is not even a listed alternative. Why move this article away from an accepted name? --Bejnar (talk) 03:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, how are you?.. this is how we pronounciate it in libya "El Marj", and incase if u are not convinced with what i wrote you can request to get it back.--Elmondo21st (talk) 12:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I do appreciate your work in keeping Libyan articles accurate. Unfortunately, the standard on the Wikipedia is not local pronunciation, but what is commonly used in English. Please see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names). We do need to move it back. The standard for listing alternative names is appearance in English language publications, or publications generally read by English language speakers. Thanks. --Bejnar (talk) 14:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Josef Tal edit

Dear Elmondo21st, I search for a devoted (preferably a music-oriented) Wikipedian to translate the Josef Tal (English) page [1] into Arabic. Regretfully (and shamefully) I can't read Arabic but somehow succeeded to navigate myself into your page. Would you agree to perform this job? Kind regards Etan Tal (talk) 10:40, 9 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

A STUB was meanwhile done... Etan Tal (talk) 21:44, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, my friend, how are you? Please, can you watch this page that I made with the help of another Wikifriend? I'm not User of Wiki.AR, but I would like to perfectionate this page, can you help me?

Thanks a lot
