Hello, Ellen Tourish! Thank you so much for coming to the Wiki Curator Training.

Now that we've created your userpage and learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and have a go at editing some articles. If you're not feeling bold enough to write another article straight away, why not try some small edits, or add some links? Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.

You can't break Wikipedia, but in case you're still nervous here are some pages that you might find helpful:

A couple of things I thought might interest you... To keep up to date about Wikimedia events happening throughout Scotland, to learn more about ScotWiki projects, or to publicise your own ScotWiki event or project, join the ScotWiki Mailing List! To help tackle the gender gap on Wiki, you could join the Gender Gap Task Force, or the Gender Gap mailing list! Glasgow Wikimeet #6 Hi there! As you're a Wikimedian in Scotland I'd like to invite you to the 6th Glasgow Wikimeet on Thursday 18th June - hope to see you there for some chat about all things Wiki and a bite to eat/drink.
