Abbey Ales

Hello. I was wondering why you reversed my move of Abbey Ales to Abbey Ales (brewery). I made the move per the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abbey Ales then went and changed every applicable backlink. Thanks —Travistalk 14:45, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Thiruvithancode church

Thanks for saving and expanding that article! I'd never heard of Thiruvithancode, so I didn't realize it was misspelled. Feezo (Talk) 12:48, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Eliz81, I recieved your message about the Shereef A. article - I am new to wikipedia and need some assistance with what this article needs to bring it up to standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jameelsyed (talkcontribs) 13:55, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi.

There are hundreds of references on Claudine Rhedey von Kis-Rhede in most of the libraries around the world. The information on this page is basic genealogy and it is factual. I would like to know why a tag has been placed on Claudine Rhédey von Kis-Rhéde requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Can someone explain? DrewKE —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.91.54.87 (talk) 06:41, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Japanese Education

I believe what I said was correct. Please do not ignore the truth. I have donated my knowledge to Wikipedia and do not wish to be treated badly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nokia2610 (talkcontribs) 09:59, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

This unwarranted personal attack on another editor hardly qualifies as adding your knowledge to Wikipedia. If you continue to insert your personal, unsourced opinion about Japan into articles and harass other users, you will be blocked. Personal attacks and POV pushing are not tolerated. Please acquaint yourself with our policies and basic principles if you wish to continue to contribute. ~Eliz81(C) 10:04, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Mistake in Wikipedia

I apologise but I find that Wikipedia is no longer reliable. Things that I said about Japan is true. NO one mentioned it which I now know the reason. I apologise once again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nokia2610 (talkcontribs) 10:07, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

"o hai there." Kitteh

LOL. hi Eliz, my name is Anthony... I'm a total n00b to wikipedia, but I'd really like to learn how to make pages. Now here's my main dilemma that I could use some help with: I cannot find one section of this site that explains in detail the proper way to format a a fresh wiki page. I was given a few links that explain the importance of research, but what about those of us out there that aren't familiar with the operating system of the page.... Would you please be able to help me a little bit with better understanding the way to section off information by category and references and such? I anticipate your response. Thank you.

Hi Eliz. You say "I have no idea who the editor is who is the subject of the unblock discussion," yet you decided to criticize my comments. If you read up on who that person is, and on his posting history, both here and elsewhere, you may have a better understanding. Thanks, Crum375 (talk) 15:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

My effort to regain adminship was unsuccessful, and I'll do what I can to ensure your opinion of my suitability for adminship improves. Thank you for taking some time out of your day to voice your opinion.--MONGO 19:36, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Copy Edit of Alabama Cooperative Extension Page

Eliz81: Any chance you could find the time to copy edit my page, the Alabama Cooperative EXtension System? Someone has placed an editing tag at the top, and since you're an administrator, I was wondering if you possibly could put the page on a fast track. I really would appreciate an edit and removal of the tag. Granted, I known that as the creator of the page, I have no proprietorship, though I would like the page to represent the highest standards of Wiki scholarship and style. Shereef Akeel's article

Hi! Eliz81 - I believe I have finally completed my first article on here!!! After pouring through all the "instructions" and trying to format it properly I believe I finally have it. Can you please take a look and make sure that I have done everything correctly.. and if so remove the speedy deletion tab and the wikification tabs.  :)

Thanks so much! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jameelsyed (talkcontribs) 23:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Wrong Move about Roseline!

Hi, You were wrong to give someone like "Wednesday Next" the final word on "Roseline" because he was clearly a romantic believer in mysteries and Wikipedia has got a bad enough reputation for its articles being pseudo-historically orientated. A Wikipedia article by Philip Coppens has already been deleted by Wikipedia administrators and Coppens has also been warned by Administrators for using Wikipedia as a means of advertising his journals. It is quite clear that the designation of the Paris Meridian as "Roseline" was a Dan Brown invention from a casual reading of his novel The Da Vinci Code --- according to the story Dan Brown proposed that Rosslyn Chapel lay on the Paris Meridian and because of this the Meridian was called "Roseline" also being a reference to the bloodline of Jesus Christ. Quoting from The Da Vinci Code:

"Rosslyn Chapel’s entrance was more modest than Langdon expected. The small wooden door had two iron hinges and a simple oak sign, Roslin. This ancient spelling, Langdon explained to Sophie, derived from the Rose Line meridian on which the chapel sat; or, as Grail academics preferred to believe, from the “Line of the Rose” — the ancestral lineage of Mary Magdalene . . . "

I shall be returning to the article to offer modifications as soon as it is unblocked. Wfgh66 (talk) 02:17, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Ahem. Protecting a page during an edit war is not an endorsement of the current version. m:The Wrong Version is perhaps a more humorous take on this. Wikipedia:Protection policy is the serious story. ~Eliz81(C) 02:28, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Meta Knight Protection!

You protected the page during a period of undiscussed redirects. The initial posting of for RfPP was so that the page could be protected prior to a non-discussed merge could take place. If you could please unprotected and unredirect, it would be appreciated. - 66.109.248.114 (talk) 02:21, 31 January 2008 (UTC).

I have just had problems with someone who seriously believes in the genealogy of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene and Eliz81 has given THEM the final word by blocking the relevant Wikipedia article! Wfgh66 (talk) 02:26, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
No way. See above comment for how administrators deal with edit wars. ~Eliz81(C) 02:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the funny response. -66.109.248.114 (talk) 02:56, 31 January 2008 (UTC).

Wednesday Next

"Wednesday Next" is clearly a serious believer in the bloodline of Jesus Christ and any mention of the Meridian being called "Rose Line" originating from only The Da Vinci Code is clearly a massive disappointment to him. Wfgh66 (talk) 02:33, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Not true, my only disappointment is your inability or unwillingness to cite your sources. Wednesday Next (talk) 02:55, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
The appropriate way to deal with such content disputes is not to edit war. Please see WP:3RR. You should be using user and article talk pages. ~Eliz81(C) 02:54, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism by Wednesday Next

Wednesday Next has been engaging in vandalism on a series of Wikipedia articles removing links to, and references from the priory-of-sion website.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Plantard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A9renger_Sauni%C3%A8re http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rennes-les-Bains http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippe_de_Ch%C3%A9risey http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priory_of_Sion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Lincoln http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A9rard_de_S%C3%A8de http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosslyn_Chapel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Meridian Wfgh66 (talk) 03:02, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

I see you both have been blocked for 24 hours for violating the 3 revert rule, which is appropriate. When your block is lifted, please use the article talk page to resolve the dispute, and do not revert each others' edits. Call in the mediation committee if need be. ~Eliz81(C) 03:12, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Systematic deletion of my contributions to Wikipedia

Hi, my contributions to Wikipedia are systematically being deleted by 77.49.252.57. And by Wikipedia Administrator Versageek. Is there any reason for this? Can anyone kindly please offer me an explanation? I would be most grateful. And all references to information and source material to the priory-of-sion website that have been in the Wikipedia articles for a considerable period of time (ie, years) and were placed in those Wikipedia articles by former Wikipedia contributors as well as Wikipedia Administrators (ie, Loremaster, Paul Barlow, etc) are also being systematically culled and deleted. I admit that some references to the website were placed by me, but definitely not all of them. References to websites of a dubious and pseudo-historical nature, on the other hand, remain intact. Please can anyone here provide a rational explanation as to why myself, wfgh66, and material sources of information from the priory-of-sion in relation to relevant Wikipedia articles are being targetted and deleted? The website concerned is hardly "spam" as described by 77.49.252.57, having being used as a source of material and reference for many books published throughout the world (I can back this up) and by numerous television satellite documentaries (I can back this up), bearing in mind it contains a large amount of unique primary source documentation not found in published books. Thank you for any reply. Wfgh66 (talk) 04:48, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Here, see, 77.49.252.57 is removing links to my website that were placed by others. You can verify this for yourself. respectfully,
