Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. Re. your edits as 87.246.10.249 and your complaint here ([1]), we have a policy here we call WP:NPOV, the "neutral point of view" principle. As you are well aware yourself, the existence of a "Macedonian nation" is accepted by an overwhelming consensus internationally. It is not a question of us "respecting" your opinion (most of us probably do), but a question of you respecting the fact that you won't be allowed to pass off your minority opinion as an absolute truth, as you were trying to do. The minority point of view that you are advocating is already represented, more than adequately, in many many places (too many if you ask me); see e.g. Macedonian language#Political views on the language, Political views on the Macedonian language, Bulgarian views on the Macedonian language, Macedonia (terminology), Macedonian language naming dispute. If you can adapt to the rules here, you will be highly welcome to keep contributing. Fut.Perf. 17:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello once again Fut. Perf., You seem to be a civilized lad. I do hope that you can keep that thing on :)

Is there a Private Messages system in here? I feel somewhat awkward talking like this.

Anyways, the Political views of my country, as I stated previously, are completelly wrong. I could go on and bring some facts on how the government itself is illegitimate, the cabinet is chosen poor and important decisions for the country are made for us by other people. But since this isn't what I came here for, I won't.

I read that Policy. I find that it is the best way to defend what is true. However, as you stated, we are a minority. From all the people in Macedonia (~1,2 million) not more than 400,000 know their real roots. But all chronicologies, anals, history books etc. describing the Balkans since the fall of the Roman Empire in the west and the arrival of Slavic tribes talk only about Slavs from the region, local Bulgarians and Greeks. No where, in any written document by any people (including the Ottman Turks or even the Greeks before the 20th century) has there ever been a mention of Macedonian people as a nation. They only speak of Macedonians, as a part of the Bulgarian lands - Moesia, Thracia, Macedonia. And after the First Balkan War, when those territories were liberated from the Ottoman empire, the Greek and Serbian governments started their own massive propaganda, truning the Bulgarian people into Greeks and Serbs. It is estimated that over 130,000 people died just between The Balkan Wars and World War One. That is a genocide againt anything and everything carying bulgarian roots in it. After loosign WW1, the Bulgarian troops were froced out of Macedonia and the people left behind were terrorised even worse. The border line between the Serbian occupied Macedonia and Bulgaria was heavily fortified and guarded almoast as much, if not more, than the Berlin wall. And the people left inside were turned itno notning more than slaves to a hated system.

When World War 2 started, Bulgaria unwillingly joined the Axis. As a small retribution, we were given the ability to govern the Macedonian lands. The Bulgarians from the region accepted their liberators with nothing less than sheer enthusiasm - they were finally free! After just four years, those lands were returned to Jugoslavia and Greece respectivelly, covering the pre-war border. Then one of the biggest crimes of the 20th century happened - in a long period, instead of destoying the Bulgarian people, the Jugoslavian state turned them into Macedonians - so called descendants of the ancient Macedons, which under Alexander the Great conquered the world. And entire history of this nation was created, ripping people from other histories - mostly Bulgarian. Bulgarian Tzars, monks, revolutionaires, even the creators of the Bulgarian and Slavic alphabet - St. St. Cyrilus and Methodius were all made into Macedonians. The Bulgarian Khaganate of Knan Kouber, establsihed in the early 6th century, which in the 8th merged with the Danube Bulgaria of Knah Krum was essentially deleted from history. The Bulgariaans, rulling the country, are pictured as Tataric hordes, conquering the Ancinet and sophisticated Macedonians. There was nothing like that - the local Slavic and Bulgarian tribes eagerly merged forces with the Danube Bulgarians in order to fight the common enemy - the Byzantine empire.

So, yeah, I can not accept those lies being put on an equal base with what really happened. However ridiculous the case, I shall do it the civilized way. But in no circumstances will I accept that or even agree to those horrible misinterpretations of historical facts. For god sakes, my grandmother and grandfather are from Kostur - they were chased out of the country, thier son killed, most of their friends gone missing or arrested by the authorities and tortuered.

I'm deeply sorry for being so emotional. It is just the nature of this dispute, that really makes me angry and almoast losing my temper.

By the way, if I and my associates win the probable case, what guarantee do we get that our version will stay?
