The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi Daniel,

I hope you’re doing well.

Firstly, apologies for the inconvenience and trouble caused here. Prospect is a music competition that helps promote new artists that’s been running for eight years. Whereas it’s not as well known as other awards, the artists have of course won them and so the editing is to include those awards in the artist’s pages. We have had interaction from artists via social media and we’re getting more and more support from the industry and from supporters of Prospect year after year. However, I can see why these edits might have been considered as “promotional or advertising material”, but that was genuinely not the intention behind it. I won’t edit any more artist’s pages as a result.

I am however strongly against the deletion of the Prospect Music Award Wikipedia article, but unsure of how to contest it. This is an actual award and the references in question aren’t just taken from internal sources. We’ve had articles written about Prospect that clarify a lot of the points about the 2021 competition with all of the other details available on our website and other sources. While creating the article, my main intention was to get as many sources as possible to prove the points being stated inside the article and because this is a real thing being spoken about with multiple sources of evidence to prove that, I don’t see how the article can be deleted or the fairness in it. On its own, it is not being used for advertising purposes, only to provide information on the Prospect Music Award to those who would like to know more, such as fans or the artists or managers we contact for artists being considered for internal selection. I don’t see how this is breaking any of Wikipedia’s terms or conditions. If you disagree with this then please let me know how they do and give me advise on how to make it work.

Thank you for reading, I hope you consider my notes.

Best,
