Marching Scarlet Knights Page

Hello! I have been working on the Marching Scarlet Knights page, and noticed that you have taken an interest in this page. Thank you for your contributions, they are really helping develop the page! I did notice that you removed the addition about the audition process; this information was correct according the FAQ section of Rutgers Marching Band website ( link: http://www.scarletknights.com/band/band-faq.html ). Do you have another source that explains the audition process differently that we could use to portray this process more accurately? - Ahouston5 (talk) 03:14, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you for also contributing to the Marching Scarlet Knights page! It was looking pretty sparse last week. I'm editing the page for a school assignment about Wikipedia. This is my first time using a talk page so forgive me if I do something wrong. I'm a member of the Rutgers University Marching Band so I have first hand experience of what happens in the band. Our band website is pretty outdated so some of the information is not up-to-date. I'll contact one of our staff to see if he could update it. I am actually working on this page for a Wikipedia class as well! I just started the Marching Scarlet Knights page a couple of weeks ago for a project. I am actually a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band at the University of Nebraska. PLEASE take down or tell me if anything I put up isn't accurate as you know it, I'm not as closely related to the band as you are (obviously), so I'm just going off of what I've found as published work. If you could talk to your band staff about updating your website that would be fantastic...would love for this page to be as accurate as possible! - Ahouston5 (talk) 16:38, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Oh cool! What instrument do you play? I talked to my band staff and they said that our athletics department is in charge of the website and that they submitted a request for them to update it, but they haven't yet. Right, I understand what you're saying. However, even if that tradition isn't still done, it fits better in the Traditions section than in the History section with the way each section is currently structured. I left your rewording, so it should be apparent that Knight Call is no longer done that way.
