June 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Dudhhr. I noticed that you recently removed content from Giorgos Giakoumakis without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. – dudhhr talk contribs (he/they) 15:12, 8 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

June 2023 edit

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  firefly ( t · c ) 10:17, 10 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
You've been blocked because you have twice now made a clear "do this or I will sue" legal threat. Such threats are not allowed on Wikipedia. I understand that it can be frustrating when you "know" something to be true and want to update an article, but ultimately material on Wikipedia must be verifiable, not merely 'known' by one or more editors. Moreover, jumping straight from "but I know this to be true" to "I'll sue you!" isn't particularly conducive to a collaborative editing environment. I do want to stress that the block is "indefinite", but not "infinite" - if you retract the legal threat and are willing to edit in a collaborative manner I will happily lift it. firefly ( t · c ) 10:22, 10 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear friend I retract the legal threat but you have to understand that when you say he appears to be Romani is not much of a proof that he is Romani. The article I have posted as proof clearly states that he is from Peza a village in Heraklion, Crete Greece. Not one Romani person is registered ever in that area. I am part of this family I know my family history so delete this info and if you can verify it yourself then you can put it back up. I assure you he is not Romani. Do your research correctly.
