Speedy deletion nomination of Project Alphaism

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Project Alphaism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Project Alphaism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Project Alphaism, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. The speedy deletion tag was added because I don't believe a discussion is required; there is no assertion of notability in your article and it is eligible for speedy deletion. I'm sorry if you don't like that. You are free to contest the speedy deletion at the talk page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:35, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Project Alphaism. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Deletion

edit

You are not allowed to remove either deletion template from the article. Should an administrator decide not to allow the speedy deletion, the deletion discussion will continue. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:38, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Saving the article content

edit

Copying the article content to the talk page of the deletion discussion is not a valid way to "preserve its contents". If you feel the need to do that, copy it offline to your own computer before it is deleted. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:40, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reading your entire article

edit

No, I didn't bother reading the entire article, I skipped the character bios. As the automated message I left says, the article "appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant" - you need to explain why this online storytelling forum is significant enough to merit an encyclopedia article, per WP:NOTABLE. Wikipedia explicitly isn't a place to write about things you made up with your friends. --McGeddon (talk) 18:52, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  KrakatoaKatie 20:35, 28 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
