Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited BatchMaster Software, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello Edwige9, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Deepender Singh Hooda have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 01:35, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about World Book of Records

edit

Hello, Edwige9,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Cwmhiraeth and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, World Book of Records should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/World Book of Records .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Cwmhiraeth}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

{{Re|Cwmhiraeth}} Hi Cwmhiraeth! Nice to meet you too! I went through your discussion but I have a point here. Before creating the page, I searched for the subject World Book of Records and found lot of credible references. You can see it on the page. Regardign the Huffington Post, I referenced the material that I was able to found elsewhere and didn't use the other content as I found a legal notice to the news portal from the organization which means there is some ongoing legal issue. Recently, famous Indian comedian Kapil Sharma's name was included and there are lot of news articles about it. I request you to view the matter objectively and go through all the references. If you go through the social media profile of the organization, you will find many people have endorsed it including the Prime Minister of India. As per the referenced material, the organization is registered in UK. There are lot of news articles about the subject. Edwige9 (talk) 11:05, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:World Book of Records Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:11, 19 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Stop politically motivated vandalism

edit

Hi,

Do not vandalise (politically motivated): Do not remove large source text from the articles like what did here at Bhupinder Singh Hooda on 31 August 2019. This comes across as deliberate WP:VANDALism which comes across as the politically motivated action because you did so around May 2019 India national elections and October 2019 Haryana state elections. Moreover you did it without first seeking consensus on the article talkpage, and you did not inform the original editor. In case of removal of large texts you must leave a message on original editor's talk page if especially they they are IP as IPs receive no notification otherwise. As per WP:BLP, the reliably sourced court convictions and cases as well as legal investigations by the constitutional entities (CBI, NIA, ED, police and others) can be included in the biography of the "public figures" including "politicians". Refrain from doing such large scale removals, else it will earn you permanent ban from wikipedia.

How many accounts and WP:SOCs do you have? Further, despite your claim of being regular visitor to wikipedia this seems like a dormant account. Which leads me to seek the following clarification from you: do you have multiple accounts? Please list all your accounts and IPs below to provide transparency. Using multiple accounts is violation of WP:SOC which could earn immediate permanent ban from the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution requests/SPI noticeboard.

If you chose to respond to this, inform me on my talkpage: If and whenever you chose to respond to this message here on your talkpage or if you try to eliminate the edit from Hooda's article, leave me a message on my talkpage too. If there is no reply from you, i consider this matter closed/resolved, provided there is no removal of the above mentioned text from Hooda article. If you chose to reply, pls reply both points, including your all/multiple/SOC accounts as I would then seek SOC investigation from admins. I have no other account. I have always been an IP, but an experienced IP for over 10 years. Thanks. 58.182.176.169 (talk) 07:17, 13 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Maha Khabar

edit

Hello Edwige9,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Maha Khabar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics

edit

The article Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sources are all routine announcements of operations performed. No in-depth coverage for WP:NCORP found.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hemantha (talk) 07:46, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics is a one of its kind and a well known hospital in India dedicated to obesity surgery. The sources cited are not just the routine announcements of the operations performed but rare surgeries performed in India. Also, it is a centre that prepares surgeons for this disease. Many people around the globe search for it on a daily basis. However, as you have tagged it for no in-depth coverage, I request to add a maintenance tag so more information can be added to the page.Edwige9 (talk) 10:51, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
