May 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Largoplazo. I noticed that you recently removed content from Girl on a Ball without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. This is extremely late, and it doesn't really matter anymore, but the reason I'd done it is because it seemed irrelevant (I hadn't mastered this entire talk page thing in 2020...). I follow skating, and I didn't find it meaningful to include this program that a junior skater had done. It was an opinion though, and maybe I shouldn't have deleted, because there's nothing wrong with it, but there's nothing much for it to matter when it comes to Picasso? Actually, now that Valieva had an entire doping scandal during the Olympics, and with her being used in a soft way within Russian propaganda currently, this inclusion on the painting's wiki entry is much more relevant haha.Editor120918756 (talk) 05:18, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yuna Kim GA nomination edit

Hello! I noticed that you recently nominated Yuna Kim for GA. I was wondering if you wanted any help with this? It's not ready for a GA review currently – several parts of the article are unsourced. Artemisia (talk) 10:56, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

OK! Let me know what to do! I'll be slow though. Editor120918756 (talk) 11:10, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wang Xinkang moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Wang Xinkang, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 11:56, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Onel5969: The person who edits the Chinese skater pages pretty much always adds these unverifiable, unsourced things... Soon this athlete will go to a new championship, I'll add the information, remove the nonsense and get back to you. Editor120918756 (talk) 19:55, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, that way you won't have to wait in the AfC queue. Onel5969 TT me 22:41, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Onel5969: Seems it got removed from draftspace? In case this is a mistake, I request you to not put it back. He's currently at Junior world championships, so I'll be editing the article with more details and sources, hopefully enough to make the article suitable. September 2023 edit

Thank you for your comments, which you added in discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Figure Skating. Please note that, on Wikipedia, consensus is determined by discussion, not voting, and it is the quality of the arguments that counts, not the number of people supporting a position. If your comments concerned a deletion discussion, please consider reading Wikipedia's deletion policy for a brief overview of the deletion process. We hope that you decide to stay and contribute even more. A single "oppose" with nothing else carries no weight in any discussion. Jasper Deng (talk) 02:03, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Even if I have nothing else to add and agree with what was said? OK, you are free to ignore my vote. Editor120918756 (talk) 03:26, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Even if you do agree with them, you should say that explicitly.--Jasper Deng (talk) 04:12, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

The article 2022–23 ISU World Standings and Season's World Ranking has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No information provided.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
