Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, EditingFunFunFun. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Frood 04:00, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Atlantic306 (talk) 19:46, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I left a note on how all material was sourced accurately using unbiased sources. I linked the house journal of the Iowa House stating she was absent for key votes. I also linked the House Journal for specific votes that she cast with explanations of those votes from reputable newspapers like the Des Moines register. No response citing specifics about the page was offered. I need specifics so that I can ensure that I do not do it again, if it was accurately stated. I still maintain that this was an inappropriate deletion by Atlantic306. EditingFunFunFun (talk)EditingFunFunFun

This is strictly against our biographies of living persons (BLP) policies. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, in particular 2.2 and 2.3. The inappropriate use of primary sources specifically for painting a negative image of a group of people in this case (results of a House vote) is original research, which is not permitted, as it is a direct violation of criteria #2 of the BLP removal criteria. The changes will be reverted, please review our policies before making such changes again. Alex ShihTalk 07:02, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

edit

Hello, EditingFunFunFun. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
