{{helpme}} I can't figure out how to post images on the side and also how to do redirects. The first redirect should be from 19NorDHEA and the second is from NorAndrostene-3b-ol,17-one. I have an image of the structure and also a conversion chart that I would like to upload. HELP!

  • If you want to upload an image , click 'upload file' on the left side of the screen. Also, if you want to create a redirect, type #REDIRECT [[The name of the page you want it to redirect to]] For instance, if you want Foo to redirect to Foobar, you would type #REDIRECT [[Foobar]]. This can also be done by clicking the tab at the top that has "#R" on it. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 11:55, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Not sure if you've seen it or not, but another editor has added even more information about formatting on my talk page. Good luck with the article writing! StephenBuxton (talk) 15:51, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

DRV

edit

With regard to 19NorDehydroepiandrosterone (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), I have reversed your edits on WP:DRV as these were in the wrong place (see diff for your original text). You could either try again but follow the instructions more carefully, or raise your issue on the talk page of the deleting admin (Jclemens (talk · contribs)), possibly to request a copy to be put in your user space for improvement - see WP:Userfy. Thank you Ebuddha5 (talk) 14:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Ebuddha5Reply

I restored this as a contested prod, but you'll need to work on better sourcing otherwise it may be nominated for deletion. –xenotalk 20:17, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's fine, I have some additional references to add, but again, I don't know how you can debate the existence of a compound. I will put up the image so you can see it does indeed exist.

Ebuddha5 (talk) 23:15, 26 February 2010 (UTC) EBuddha5 I just found a nice reference talking about 19NorDHEA and it's isomers.Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:NorDHEA.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 06:12, 26 February 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 06:12, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ebuddha5 (talk) 23:14, 26 February 2010 (UTC) EBuddha5 - My biochemist created it for me. Can someone fix the formatting on this, I am still terrible at it. I think my references may have been altered. Also, reference 11 conclusively discusses the existence of 19NorDehydroepiandrosterone.Reply

Ebuddha5 (talk) 13:11, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Ebuddha5 Can someone please publish this for me 19NorDehydroepiandrosterone.Reply

I changed your reference No.11 - the way it was added was not suitable for Wikipedia, the numbers will keep changing as more data is added, so we have to use an automated system, and add the data within the main text body in a set of reference tags... So this data
11 Uralets VP, Gillette PA. Over-the-counter delta5 anabolic steroids 5-androsen-3,17-dione; 5-androsten-3beta, 17beta-diol; dehydroepiandrosterone; and 19-nor-5-androsten-3,17-dione: excretion studies in men. J Anal Toxicol. 2000 Apr;24(3):188-93.
Became (as one would see in the edit window)...
