Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Usernames that are the same as company names are generally frowned upon, especially when they are used to edit articles related to that company. Please see the conflict of interest guidelines. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. Vicenarian (T · C) 17:13, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for the heads-up. Didn't realize that was frowned upon. I will change the username, as you suggest.

Thanks! Compasslight (talk) 19:19, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not a problem. Happy editing! Vicenarian (T · C) 14:09, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Conservation Media Group

edit

Hello, Eastfork. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Conservation Media Group".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Conservation Media Group}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:00, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
