The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hi Sphilbrick, Thank you for your contribution. I am a student of Mantak Chia and I am the person who took the photos. Can I ask why you put the photos down? All the best. Earthling plus (talk) 08:56, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I see that you are new so let me explain something that may not be obvious.
When we encounter a copyright issue, it is standard practice to do a rollback, which undoes all consecutive edits by the same editor. It may be the case that this undoes some perfectly acceptable edits, so feel free to restore the edits involving the photos.
I initiated the rollback because one of the edits appeared to include text to close to a copyrighted source. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:31, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi Sphilbrick,
Oh, I am a super newbie but I copied the text from his website because I wrote that text too. Do I still need to use a different language?
Secondly, all the photos are taken by myself on a Canon D5 :)
I hope I can restore the edits.
Thank you! Earthling plus (talk) 15:58, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
This may surprise you, but it's not quite that simple. One challenge is because we do not verify any identity when setting up a login name, we don't know that you are the same person who created that text.
There is a solution Wikipedia:Declaration_of_consent_for_all_enquiries.
However, before undertaking that step two create the permission, please be aware that it is unlikely that the source would qualify as a reliable source.
