editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Parody religion, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The same content, for which I could find no supporting evidence on a cursory search, had been added to Religion inappropriately. BiologicalMe (talk) 17:46, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
- Will endeavour to cite proper sources in future! Eagleye1001 (talk) 22:49, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Auguste Piccard. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 17:08, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Will do, apologies. Eagleye1001 (talk) 22:49, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Serols. I noticed that in this edit to Ranger Regiment (United Kingdom), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Serols (talk) 14:46, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Coldstreamer20. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ranger Regiment (United Kingdom) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please stop spamming information which isn't properly cited. Yes, I agree with what you're saying personally, but as an editor I can't agree with something which others prove incorrect. If you'd like to open a discussion on the Ranger Regiment talk page about moving the cap badge issue to a separate page feel free, but don't keep removing the information please. Some baklava for you!
editHi thanks for creating Giuseppe Sapeto. When using material on em.wiki from another wiki, we need to use a translation template so there is proper attribution for copyright. I’ve added the template to the talk page so you can re-use it for you4 future articles. All the best Mccapra (talk) 19:47, 5 January 2022 (UTC) |
- Thank you! This means a lot! Eagleye1001 (talk) 22:46, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, it's great that you translated this from another wiki, but unfortunately you translated it with almost zero sources, and it's been tagged as needing sources since January. All content needs to be cited to a reliable source. valereee (talk) 22:59, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
Mentioned at a noticeboard
editHello Eagleye1001. I'm letting you know that your name was mentioned in a case at the edit warring noticeboard. Your making the Irish peacekeepers into one of the combatants in south Lebanon seems unusual, and is clearly not sourced in the article. EdJohnston (talk) 00:09, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- I made the edit because of the Battle of At-Tiri. Eagleye1001 (talk) 18:23, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Do you have official information that the Irish UN peacekeeping force was a *combatant* in Lebanon, or an ally of one of the factions? If so, say where you read that. Peacekeepers are intended to break up quarrels between other parties. EdJohnston (talk) 22:09, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

- I am also ex-Irish Army myself and am well aware of this battle as we received talks on it while in training. Eagleye1001 (talk) 10:22, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

If you are a friend of the subject (as you say in this diff), you likely have a conflict of interest. It would probably be advisable to request edits from the talk page which allows disinterested editors to assess the validity of the edits. Solipsism 101 (talk) 15:44, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- And more generally, we need a source before we add stuff to articles, especially if they're biographies of living people. Other people must be able to check what you add and they cannot if it comes from personal assertion. Solipsism 101 (talk) 15:56, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, and sorry for the late response. Yeah conflict of interest makes sense, I'll refrain from the topic. Eagleye1001 (talk) 22:47, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, so for this one you're going to need to read WP:OR. We do not use our own experiences to develop content. We use WP:reliable sources.
- We do not add unsourced content. Ever.
- We avoid including trivia. Unless a personal love for hot sauce or dogs or starry, starry nights is important to understanding the person, we do not need to include every little detail. valereee (talk) 22:51, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Malimooju, you may be blocked from editing. Creation of hoax pages is vandalism. Please do not do this again. valereee (talk) 13:47, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee I do not know why you assume this is a hoax page. Please read the discussion page about the potential deletion of the Malimooju page before making such accusations. I am a proud contributor to Wikipedia and always cease to make this website better. I'm offended at your message. Eagleye1001 (talk) 22:27, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Completely willing to buy into the idea that you did this out of ignorance and not malice, although the number of warnings for disruptive editing here aren't filling me with confidence. Please go read WP:Notability and its dozens of subpages. The fact a couple of college students poured flavored rum into chocolate milk and decided they'd invented a cocktail does not mean that cocktail is notable. Best to you. valereee (talk) 22:41, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
