If you're offended by User:Milkbaba, feel free to leave a uw-npa series warning on the user's talk page. As for the question, I've already replied on his talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 05:57, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Replied on your talk. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:59, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Since it's a three-way conversation, nominally, all further replies from me will be there. —C.Fred (talk) 06:00, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I warned User:Milkbaba. By the way, good job tonight on deleting articles. You've already deleted seven of the articles I nominated for speedy deletion. Eagles 24/7 (C) 06:03, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm going to give Milkbaba the benefit of the doubt with his comments on his talk page, since he was talking about the tagging and not the editors themselves. (As a football official, there's about 15 yards of difference between "That call was horrible" and "Ref, you're horrible." :) ) However, I'm keeping an eye on the situation. —C.Fred (talk) 22:51, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Ethan9456

In regards to your recent deletion of my starting lineup posts on the 2009 philadelphia eagles site, I must say that, while I acknowledge your hard work on this page and devotion to the Eagles, it seems a little micromanaging. I, personally, would rather go on Wikipedia and see any starting lineup I wanted rather than to have to go to each individual game on NFL.com. Notice there are the starting lineups for every Super Bowl and such. I guess some people just need to feel powerful by controlling and vetoing others' contributions . . . —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ethan9456 (talkcontribs) 01:02, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for replying. However, comments like "I guess some people just need to feel powerful by controlling and vetoing others' contributions" can be considered a personal attack, and here on Wikipedia, we do not tolerate personal attacks. I will ask around the NFL WikiProject to see if it is acceptable for starting lineups for each game, and ask other editors' opinions. Thanks again for contributions, and we'll see what happens. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:29, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

I just didn't realize that Wikipedia had something against a large amount of information. It could be argued that anything on the 2009 Philadelphia Eagles season page is "unneeded" or superfluous as any of this information is, indeed, able to be found on NFL.com or Philadelphiaeagles.com. I am failing to see what makes the Eagles' starting lineups (available on NFL.com) any less relevent than, say, the score of the last game (also available on NFL.com). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ethan9456 (talkcontribs) 01:57, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

You crack me up

I thought I might say that you crack me up when people try to tell you that you are wrong. Even though you are right! BTY, I'm a Colts fan. 11-0. Can't beat that since Saints are probebly losing right now. (I hope). :)

P.S. Thanks for all the help on the infoboxes. I will keep working on them as I have time.

Your a Colts fan and you want the PATRIOTS to win--Yankees10 02:23, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
I love the irony there, too, Yankees. Especially with you, how you're an Eagles fan and a YANKEES fan. Anyway, if I were to root for either the Colts or Saints, I would 100% go with the Colts. See Week 2, 2009; Week 16, 2007, here and the killer, here. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:28, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
By the way, the Saints are winning 17-10. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:44, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

The Siants won killed the Patriots but I think that they will have a harder time against the Vikings. Oh, and from now on I want the Patriots to lose. Southwood Paul (talk) 12:35, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Definitely. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:02, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Eli Whitney Student Program

Thanks for the help, but I'm still having trouble with a citation. Can you help me format footnote #5 on the Eli Whitney Students Program page so that it reads like all the other footnotes. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Milkbaba (talkcontribs) 11:51, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

I fixed it for you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:18, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Colts - Chiefs Rivalry

I reverted your edit and began a discussion on the talk page. Lets hash it out there so we don't get involved in an edit war. I'm hoping others will weigh in as well. Regards. SpartanSWAT10 (talk) 23:09, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Alrighty. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:46, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the help!

Active

I will not be so active on the wikipedia let alone the computer. So I will not get too many infoboxes completed. I just need to spend some time off the computer. I will still be one just not as much. Thanks for all the help. Southwood Paul (talk) 03:48, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

No problem, and we really appreciate your help as well with the infoboxes. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:49, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Splitting time on player pages

You know, Im trying to get my name out there and get credit for editing the NFL pages and College football pages. Im just asking not saying you have to. I just want to get rep.Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:20, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't understand what you are asking for. Could you elaborate further? Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:39, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
That you do some pages of players that have been recently injured, cut, signed and I do the other pages of the players . Like lets say if 3 transactions happened you do 2 and I do 1. Stealthninja545 (talkcontribs) 05:48, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
I haven't really updated players pages recently due to them being signed, released, etc., but when it comes up, I'll let you know though. The thing is, the busiest time of the week for transactions is usually either Monday or Tuesday, so make sure you're around on those days. Eagles 24/7 (C) 06:00, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Alright man Stealthninja545 (talk) 06:03, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Calm down...

Watch the screaming here, the user may be annoying and somewhat disruptive but there's no need to scream when the user can be spoken to in a calm tone even if that's challenging. If it's a challenge then it may be best to step back and calm down or to not talk to the user when you're upset with them.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 22:03, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't even realize that I came off that way. I'm not even that upset with him, I'm just amazed that he keeps adding the same info back over and over again. As to my "screaming", it doesn't translate well at all over the Internet, but I wasn't being serious at all, just joking. Sorry about that. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:08, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey at least you said please--Yankees10 22:12, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

I Didn't Edit the Emmit Smith Page

I didn't edit on the Emmit Smith page at all. Can you double check the IP address? Thanks. 69.171.160.81 (talk) 09:21, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

See here. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:48, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
---Different user here, apparently I have the same IP address as the person who originally posted this message. I didn't post this original message OR edit the Emmitt Smith page... weird.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.160.81 (talkcontribs) 22:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Not really, because IP addresses sometimes cover large areas of a region, so there can be multiple editors. If you wish to have your own account, you can sign up for an account. This would give you your own Wikipedia identity and get rid of other people accessing your account. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:19, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow.

In the past 3 days, Ive probably edited 50 NFL pages and like 5 MLB pages. I thought editing was easy. Man its only been 3 days and Im already tired. Im not saying Im stopping though. ;)Stealthninja545 (talk) 03:54, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Congrats. It's good to see another NFL editor come along who "gets" it. And about your request from a couple days ago, I probably won't be telling you "Okay, you edit this and I'll edit that", because it can't work that way. I'm going to assume that you have Watchlist-ed all 32 NFL team roster templates by now so you can follow the transactions made by each team. If not, you should definitely do so. When you see a transaction pop up on one of those templates, just wait 30 min or so for that editor to update the player page. When 30 min have gone by, anyone is able to edit the corresponding player page. This way, edit conflicts will decrease. Keep up the good work! Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:11, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Actually all i do is go on nfl.com and mlb.com and look at the recent transactions.Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:47, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Ok, that's fine. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:59, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Nah i dont care about that notification thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stealthninja545 (talkcontribs) 22:05, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Leads

You removed most of the lead from Tyler Palko. If somebody expands the lead let it be because it is actually correct. The standard lead is just for players that nobody has cared about enough to expand it. BTW, are you prepared for the Eagles loss on Sunday? :P--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 21:45, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, ok didn't know that about the leads. It's just that it seemed unnecessary, but whatever. And no, the Eagles won't lose on Sunday due to guys like Akeem "The Dream" Jordan and DeSean Jackson coming back from injuries. It should be a good game, regardless. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:01, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you were right...--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 01:45, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Jeff Ulbrich

Ulbrich retired today and what do I do? Is there a template for Retired players? Stealthninja545 (talk) 03:34, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

First off, he hasn't officially retired. As soon as the NFLPA lists him as retired, then it is official. Secondly, we are currently switching over all NFLretired infoboxes to NFLactive, as the NFLactive infobox can now support retired players. As for changing the infobox when he does officially retire, I'll show you how to change it as soon as it comes up. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:03, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Chris has said this before so I'll say it now. The player pages are different, we update the page before NFLPA removes him because IPs will go nuts and we might as well do it right so we have something to go back to. The roster stays the same with Ulbrich still listed however.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 20:07, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, gotcha. Nevermind Stealthninja. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:08, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Try talking to him in a calm manner in order to get the issue resolved. I'm not a very good arbitrator for this situation, though, because I don't follow baseball. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:44, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of Greatest Hits (Jank 1000 album)

I don't see the need for there to be a duplicate Speedy Deletion notice – he took it out and you put it back only once. Thanks. Bwrs (talk) 20:31, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

That was the second time it was created though. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:33, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
If it turns out that the album doesn't exist at all, then ignore my edits and please go ahead and get rid of the {{hangon}}; in addition, feel free to selectively revert my edits to the user's talk page. I just believe that there should be a few hours grace period for a new user to get their article up to snuff before it gets wiped. Bwrs (talk) 20:45, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Hope so.

I hope you had the time to watch "The U". Thats my team. My future college. My future uniform. Im not really 28. Im 16.Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:48, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Nope, but I watched Mark Ingram, Jr. win the Heisman. I wonder if Toby Gerhart gets drafted in this year's draft though. And I'm not 28 either. I won't reveal my age here, I'm a minor like you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:09, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Gerhart's projecting for the 2nd or 3rd round right now. Always time to dazzle the Raiders with 40 times though. And on a side note, "The U" was pretty good always love watching my second team, yet it makes me hate college football rules even more.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 13:40, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Well that's good, I was hoping he wouldn't turn out like Jason White who had a great college career and didn't make it in the pros. I guess I need to start checking out draft projections already. Eagles 24/7 (C) 15:51, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Editing Advice

Im looking for some articles to edit as per your instructions, but I seem to be a bit overwhelmed. Any advice on where to start looking? Skamecrazy123 (talk) 22:28, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

You could pick a random computer or music article, and just look through the article for errors, grammar mistakes, etc., just to get started. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:39, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Ok then, that sounds like a plan -- Skamecrazy123 (talk) 02:24, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Just thought I'd let you know that I've found and edited some articles. Its only citations that I've added, but I've made a start anyway. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 19:29, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

That's great though! Citations reduce the risk of readers thinking the information is incorrect. And you know how controversial Wikipedia already is :) Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:14, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Excellent :). I'm also keeping a look out for any grammatical and spelling errors too. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 20:25, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Yea, don't stress too much on the grammar and spelling, you should mainly work on the articles themselves, and think about grammar and spelling after. By the way, how do you like it here so far? Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:31, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Quick question

How do I get one of those awards for my user page? Yeah i didnt have practice today. I wont until next year and 2 weeks of Christmas vacation.Stealthninja545 (talk) 20:13, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Do you mean like this one? Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:14, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Any. Is there one for editing football pages and sports pages??Stealthninja545 (talk) 20:16, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
That would be one of these. And there are others, like the Running Man's Barnstar. The full list of Barnstars (or Wikipedia "awards") is here. Other editors can give them to you if they feel that you are worthy of one. You'll get one eventually. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:51, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Testing

Here. You can test there as I did when I was changing up the infobox. But first you'll have to copy-paste the current template in there so that way you can see the up to date version.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 23:33, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Ok, thanks, but how will I know if it worked? Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:35, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
See the infobox shown on User:Giants27/Sandbox.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 23:43, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
That's a pretty good system you got there. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:44, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
I did a test on Giants27's Sandbox of the hiding empty height and weight sections you requested. I'm not convinced whether it's a good or bad idea. After all, it could be a good thing to show that height or weight is unknown and should be added, isn't it? Anyway, it's there for testing and amusement. Cheers! So damn happy.

WOW. My teams perfect is now half secured. Now I need New Orleans to beat Indy.Stealthninja545 (talk) 06:42, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't understand what you are saying, please explain. Also, because the Cowboys won, my team (EAGLES!) clinched a playoff spot for some reason =) Nevermind, we still have to win tomorrow. Eagles 24/7 (C) 06:45, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Im a Dolphin. New Orleans was going undefeated and they lost. All I need is for Indy to lose and my Dolphins will be still in Perfectville all alone.Stealthninja545 (talk) 00:36, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Ohhhhhh, yea. Forgot about '72. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:41, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Another question

Limas Sweed was placed on the PUP list today. What do I put in the infobox? Something else or keep it how I put it?Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:46, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

He was actually placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury/Illness list, so you can just put "Reserve/NFI" in the Infobox. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:48, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
I just put what it says on NFL.comStealthninja545 (talk) 02:50, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, but a player cannot be placed on the PUP list in the middle of the season, so it is called the Non-Football Injury/Illness list. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:52, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Not to just jump in here but when dealing with article spell out the word so instead of NFI go with Non-Football Injury/Illness unless it's mentioned in the article before and you've said that it's the shortended version of the term.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 02:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Alright, thanks Giants. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:59, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Thoughts?

I just edited Jason Chery. He was signed by the Steelers to the Practice Squad. Did I do a good job??Stealthninja545 (talk) 21:01, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

So close. You forgot to add a period at the end of the last sentence, and the format of the date of birth was incorrect. When adding the birth date to an infobox, you can use {{birth date and age}}, so if, for instance, Jason Chery was born on May 1, 1985, you can put in the infobox, |birthdate={{birthdate and age|1985|5|1}}, with the year first, then the month, then the day. Hope this helps. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:08, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

NFL records

Hi, Eagles247. I just noticed that another editor deleted your "NFL records" section at Philadelphia Eagles. To avoid an edit war, you might wish to create a new article, e.g., "List of Philadelphia Eagles league records". Go, Eagles! Eagle4000 (talk) 01:11, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

I didn't add that section. That would be User:Flyguy33 (see here) By the way, nice username   Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:15, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for searching for the creator of the section and linking to his talk page. I just sent him the message I had sent you. Ditto re your username. Thanks for adding the virgule (?; slash mark). The number "247" didn't mean anything to me when I sent you the message. Now that I know why you chose those numbers, your username is very creative. Go, Eagles – 24/7! Eagle4000 (talk) 01:32, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Haha, thanks. Does the "4000" in your username hold significance? Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Good question. I wondered that myself a few weeks ago. I think that when I discovered Wikipedia and then had to come up with a username, I must have tried a couple or a few variations that started with Eagle - followed by a few numbers - and eventually decided to go with "Eagle4000". I don't recall if 1000, 2000, and 3000 were already taken. I do have an HP LaserJet 1000 printer. Perhaps that's where the "4000" came from. Of course, I could have been projecting ahead to the Eagles winning the Super Bowl in the year 4000 ...! I sure hope we don't have to wait that long (you and I won't be around). Is this the year?! Eagle4000 (talk) 01:49, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Ah, so you just looked around and noticed your printer and decided to name yourself after it! The way we're playing right now (5 straight wins), it sure looks like this is the year (hopefully). The Saints scare me though. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:51, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I never thought of it that way! Did I name myself for a piece of hardware ...?!? If the Saints scare you, what about the Colts? Well, at least the Saints finally lost a game (to some lowly team from Texas ...)! Go, Eagles, all the way (all the time, 24/7?)! Eagle4000 (talk) 02:01, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm more worried about the Saints since there's a better chance of us going against the Saints rather than the Colts in the playoffs since the Colts are in the AFC, and the Saints are in the NFC. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:05, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Mea culpa. I made the mistake of thinking ahead to the Super Bowl, which would mean we had already beaten N.O. That's why I'm not an NFL coach. Andy Reid would have said that we might be guaranteed at least a wild-card spot, but we want to win the division and then we focus on the first round, i.e., we don't even mention Indy until we first win the NFC ...! Eagle4000 (talk) 02:15, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm with you there. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Upload Photos

Can you tell me how to add photos to pages of College and MLB, NFL players etc.Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:19, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

First, you need to find an image that is not copyrighted. Look through Flickr.com and look for images that say "Some rights reserved" instead of "All rights reserved", because "All rights reserved" means it is fully copyrighted and cannot be used anywhere. You can also use pictures you've taken yourself of players. If you have a picture in mind that you would like to upload, but you are unsure if it is copyrighted or not, feel free to send me the link. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:26, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yeah I know bout Flickr but how do I get the file? Just save as?Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:27, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
So if it says ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, it cant be used? And do I just save as the picture?Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:32, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yep. Can I ask where this picture is located on Flickr? Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Ill ask you questions on my page concerning photos.Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
So yea, if it says "All rights reserved", you CANNOT upload it to Wikipedia. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:39, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
F***!, This girl jgirl4858 as all the players images I want to upload but there all Copyrighted. How do you filter "some copyrights" or w/e you said.Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:42, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Haha yea, Flickr can be extremely frustrating when it comes to copyright, since almost all the users fully copyright all their pictures. Anyways, you go to the top and choose "The Commons" under "search" to filter the images. Sadly, there aren't any Graig Cooper pictures that can be uploaded from Flickr to Wikipedia. =( It's a good thing that you have a million player pages you'd like to upload pictures to, though.   Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:45, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

In The Commons, Its all these photos that are old as dirt. I cant find anything NFL.Stealthninja545 (talk) 02:56, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Nevermind, I think you will just have to look at each picture to see if it has "All rights reserved" or "Some rights reserved". The Commons means that no rights are reserved. It's really annoying this way, but that's Flickr. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:00, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Time to get the 6 pack of Red BullStealthninja545 (talk) 03:02, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Haha, yep. I would love to upload tons of images to articles, but so far I haven't had much luck. The process is very boring and frustrating, however, if you go to a game or see them or whatever and you take a picture, you can upload it to Wikipedia without the hassle. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:05, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Well I am going to Dolphins-Texans game this weekend. Well my cameras broke. So thats out the window.Stealthninja545 (talk) 03:07, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Aww. Well I've been to two Eagles games this year and both times forgot my camera... Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:11, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey, Can I get photos from other sites then put them on flickr and edit them a bit and place a no copyright on them?Stealthninja545 (talk) 03:12, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
If that picture from another website is copyrighted (most are), then no, that's called plagarism, which is illegal. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:13, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Haha, yeah. Dammit. Stealthninja545 (talk) 03:15, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Again, it's a very frustrating thing, and that's why most pictures on here of NFL players are of their backs. Because that's the quality of the pictures from Flickr that are uploadable. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:16, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

You can use this web interface which does all the steps for you except for a few manual things. But to use it you log-in at Commons which is the same username and password for you as it is here (as you already know). Also Creative Commons on Flickr brings you to specific licensing for images. Only the Attribution and ShareAlike licenses are WikiCompatible however.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 03:58, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

I wish you showed me this earlier when I was killing myself trying to find a picture for Mike Kafka. Thanks Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:49, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I had looked for Mike Kafka pictures there already and didn't find anything so it more likely than not wouldn't have mattered.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 14:14, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yea I know. Also, I uploaded a cropped version of the Kafka picture and it's not showing up. Dunno what I did wrong. Eagles 24/7 (C) 16:42, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Dawan Landry

Dawan Landry. I uploaded a picture of him. I cropped a "some copyrights available" picture you know what I mean. So is it good?Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

RBROWN23 is my Flickr account by the way.Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:40, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Did you personally take that picture? Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:46, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
No.Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:48, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Well where did you get it from? Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:49, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Creative Commons-licensed content for commercial use. Is that ok?Stealthninja545 (talk) 04:51, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
FlickrStealthninja545 (talk) 04:52, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
You said that is your Flickr account. That means you uploaded it to Flickr. Where did you originally get the picture? Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:55, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I got the Dawan Landry one off Creative Commons on Flickr. Then with Flickr editor that you can crop, darken, lighten pictures etc. I cropped out Haruki Nakamura and sent it to my photostream. It says Some rights reserved with a little guy next to it on the orignal. On Commons here on Wikipedia, it says its OK to put picture with that sooooo yeah. That fine???Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:00, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Phew, yea that's fine. I thought you took an image from Google, uploaded it to your Flickr account and uploaded it here, which is exactly what I told you not to do. Could you upload that picture with just Haruki Nakamura to his article? It's rare that there is a free picture of a player's front. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:04, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

So. Am I becoming a better editor?Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:06, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Of course. Every new thing you learn here makes you a better editor. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Haruki

Theres your Haruki Nakamura picture =). Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:25, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Looks good. The image was too big and looked grainy, so I made it a little smaller. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:29, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Also I put a DeSean Jackson photo. Dont worry I credited the guy who took the picture. It was Creative Commons so its ok to use.Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yea, I saw that one. But I noticed that you just got rid of the previous image. When you replace an image with a better or more recent one, be sure to put the old image in the article somehow. See this edit on how I did that with Jackson. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:35, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
You dont have to ask me where thats from or if Its copyrighted anymore right?. I promise its not copyrighted. ALL pictures I will get are from Creative Commons on Flickr and are safe to use. =)Stealthninja545 (talk) 05:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Well yea, and that user who uploaded it has tons of Eagles pics from a game he went to this year. Eagles 24/7 (C) 05:40, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Response to Noob Notice

I am deeply sorry that I offended you by unknowingly refering to the editor who messed with my article [you] in such a degrading way. Gigogag (talk) 17:13, 24 December 2009 (UTC):-)

Mike Vick

I got a Mike Vick picture off Flickr. Yes its ok to use. I think its a little big if you can fit it better.Stealthninja545 (talk) 22:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

By the Way, MERRY CHRISTMAS!Stealthninja545 (talk) 22:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
The Vick picture is fine size-wise. And Merry Christmas to you too. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:17, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

New pics

Look at my recent contributions. Tell me what you think of the pictures I added.Stealthninja545 (talk) (Contributions)

The images are good. I saw you edited Mario Haggan. Most of that article was copy and pasted, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. I'll go ahead and clean it up. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:51, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
I fixed the Mario Haggan article. Most of that was random unsourced quotes and some weird editorial-like writing. The article isn't very big, so I made the picture inside the article much smaller. Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:08, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Kanita Ahmed Page

Hi, thanks for marking the page for speedy deletion. I'm a wikipedia newbie and don't know how this works, but it would be great to get that page removed ASAP - it's offensive and has caused personal problems for the subject. Could you also tell me how to get this off wikiwak.com - it appears to a be mirror of wikipedia but I can't seem to make any changes to it. Does it refresh from the wikipedia page automatically? Sa tripper (talk) 22:16, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

I think your situation is that someone made the Kanita Ahmed article and it was offensive and quickly removed from Wikipedia. The Wikiwak mirror website hasn't deleted it yet and you just created the article again here to tell Wikipedia that it should be deleted? Well here's your problem. Wikipedia has no control over mirror websites, and you just recreated a page that has been previously deleted for no actual purpose other than to inform people that the page before was offensive. I have no idea what the rate that website refreshes at, but it has nothing to do with this Wikipedia. When your current version of the article is deleted, that other version may very well still appear on Wikiwak, but please do not create the page over here again. Hope this helped, Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:23, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Playoff berths

I know the playoffs haven't happened yet, but the articles for the Saints, Colts, Cardinals, etc., all had 2009 added as soon as they had clinched a berth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.172.203 (talk) 01:47, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, that's weird. I'm going to ask the other NFL editors and see if we can get a consensus. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:52, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Alright, another editor added it back so I'm not going to revert it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:18, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

=( Miami is outta contention.

I go to the game. Have a great tailgate. Watch Cheap Trick. I get to my seat. Theeeeeeen the Dolphins start sucking major weiner in the 1st half. Go get my food and drink. Go back to my chair. Miami comes out on the field and have a great 3rd and 4th BUT start scoring at the end, too late. Game ends. Im fucking pissed (sorry I was). Throw some ball back around the parking spots. Then after 2 hours of throwing ball and a football game. I go home. PISSED OFF & Happy at the same time. So my day was 50/50Stealthninja545 (talk) 00:23, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

...Except that your Dolphins are technically still in it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:57, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Well yea but we need a lot of teams to lose like about 4 or 5. But Its possible but by a long shot. Sadly...Stealthninja545 (talk) 01:00, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
There's always next year. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:08, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Yup. Thats exactly what I said when I was leaving the actual stadium down the spiral. Hey but the refs called some BS calls. Henne throws a BEAUTIFUL like a Perfect pass to Ginn for a 50 yard TD and call Polite for tripping. I saw the highlight reel when I got home. I DID NOT SEE ANY TRIP! He fell down by himself. Well yea, There is always next year. Stealthninja545 (talk) 01:11, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
They didn't show the game where I live, but my Eagles won a nail-biter. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:13, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Apologies for the trigger finger and thanks for placing the redirect! Wexcan  Talk  03:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

No problem, I figured the edit conflict warning didn't pop up for you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:47, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

I think that you will find that the wiki software now prevents the creation of a new username that differes in only one letter from an existing name, to avoid such confusion, and also to avoid impersonation. Existing simialr names are not deleteds or blocked, but new ones can't be created. see WP:USERNAME. DES (talk) 19:48, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Didn't know that, thanks for telling me. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:50, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Please Delete It!!!

I am terribly sorry about that redirect. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I created it. Please delete it, as I have no idea how to get rid of it now that it's a redirect. Bdfjhkgj (talk) 20:34, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

I know you put the message on my talk page to ignore your suggestions, but you have a point. I personally think someone should just follow through and delete it. Bdfjhkgj (talk) 20:44, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
You told me on my talk page that I can talk to that administrator about deleting the redirect. What is his/her username? Bdfjhkgj (talk) 21:05, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
