It is specifically mentioned in the academic journal from the University of San Francisco [1] that the Forbidden City was designed by many architects, with Cai Xin being the master builder and designer; master mason was Liu Xiang and master carpenter was Kuai Xiang; expert planners includes Chen Gui and Wu Zhong; Nguyen An (Ruan An) was one of them. ( I did not add all of the mentioned architects' name to the article, as I figured people can read upon themselves.) This source is arguably among the most scholarly sources you'll find on this subject, as it being a reputed college-level academic journal. I think it doesn't take much to figure it out that the Forbidden City, with its enormous size and scale was not the effort of a sole architect. Also, the reason why I changed the link to Annam (Chinese province) is because I understand from the sources you cited that Nguyen An was a prisoner of War from Annam, which during Yongle Emperor's rule was incoporated as a province of Ming Dynasty. If you have furthur problem, I can remove the link from the article. The other reference, about the "Cricket's Cage", was published by the University of Manitoba's CM Magazine, while it is a brief reference, I figured it is worthing adding since it is published by a university-level source.

Also, when you insert statements onto the article, please use grammatically correct statements and check the spellings. Juding from your comments on my talk page, are you a native speaker of English?--TheLeopard (talk) 05:35, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
