Images in Tolkien articles.

edit

Hi, the images don't really belong in the infobox, as they are not original works by the originating author. This is why we don't have a screenshot of the Films in the info boxes, because it pushes adaptation specific versions on the reader, the same is true of fan-art. It would be quite reasonable to include the images outside of the infobox, perhaps in the influences in popular culture or portrayal in adaptation sections. There is no *rule* that says you can't include the images though this is based on consensus built up over time. I would suggest raising it at wp:me, this is a project that helps look after Tolkien articles, it would be a great place to try to get consensus changed.
