Welcome!

edit

Hello, Dtowner674, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Hello C.Fred! Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm actually just writing an outline for this article on myself. My lawyer will be the official person to confirm the contents and do the actual write-up. I just wanted to give her enough information to work with. I hope this isn't a problem. It's a twofold problem. You have a conflict of interest because you're writing about yourself. She would be a paid editor and would need to declare that she is editing on your behalf. It doesn't look like she's edited the article, though; I only see you as contributing to the article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:53, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@C.Fred: It appears that Dtowner674 is only editing the Ridgio article, as recently as today. WonjeV (self-identifying on this edit as "Wonje Esq.") is also only editing the same article.
@Dtowner674: Please read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. You and your lawyer should declare your conflict of interest, and then stop directly editing the article. Instead, you can post suggestions on the article talk page with the {{edit request}} template, or use the Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 17:06, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
