Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Duffylogo.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Duffylogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 23:58, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Brokenheels.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Brokenheels.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 01:39, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yet another request

Hey there Dt128. I hate to keep leaning on you so much, but there are once again multiple aging discography FLCs that need reviews. If you could review just one of the following three FLCs I would be glad. Here they are (oldest one first):

Once again, don't ever feel like you have an obligation to review them. Thanks for all your help, Dabomb87 (talk) 04:59, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I will! Sorry I've not been active much on Wikipedia lately, but will gladly help with the above over the weekend. Dt128 let's talk 21:19, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

Renaming the section heading to Videos and rewording the introduction was good, but then you stripped out the actual links to the videos. Wouldn't it be better to leave the links so readers can see/hear what they are?

Reviewer granted

edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I was just cleaning up the assessment request section on this, and noticed that you had put in a request back in March for Talk:Newcastle United F.C. Did you mean Newcastle United F.C. to be assessed? When I went to check, it's currently showing B/Top assessment. Does it need to be reassessed?

The article List of number-one indie albums of 2009 (UK) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

forgotten page with no sources of archives

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Deletion discussion about I Am ... Sasha Fierce

edit

Hello, Dt128,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether I Am ... Sasha Fierce should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Am ... Sasha Fierce .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,
