 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, The Herald (Benison) (talk) 04:51, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Manjummel Boys edit

Hey, I'll gladly update the box office collection if you can provide reliable sources per WP:ICTFSOURCES. I have been searching for days and only could get Pinkvilla with 100 crores. If you can get the source, make an edit request on the talk page or ping me. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 04:53, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello @The Herald:
I only managed to find the information from two different articles by the same website (Pinkvilla), which is a trusted sources as per the Wikipedia page you provided in your last reply. The collection you were posting as the worldwide b.o was actually the indian b.o collection, which was 84.75 cr at that time. Pinkvilla have updated their indian b.o report in this article: https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/box-office/manjummel-boys-box-office-collections-3rd-weekend-bigger-than-2nd-2nd-malayalam-film-to-100cr-in-india-1285330
Pinkvilla also mentions the overseas collection in this article: https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/box-office/manjummel-boys-box-office-collections-extraordinary-second-weekend-to-cross-100cr-worldwide-today-1283475
(I couldn't find the latest overseas collection from Pinkvilla. But according to the report it is around 43 cr)
So the total indian box office is 104.5 cr(source - Pinkvilla)
And the total overseas collection is 41-43 cr(41 cr according to Pinkvilla)
104.5+41= 145.5 cr (Total Worldwide Box Office) Ds1480 (talk) 07:33, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I got a post by Asianet, which is in malayalam, but fulfills the WP:RSP. So I have updated it accordingly. Thanks and happy editing. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 07:41, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

March 2024 edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! The Herald (Benison) (talk) 07:49, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Aadujeevitham edit

Hey, thanks for updating BO figures daily, especially with references. But it would be good if you can update it in the lede also, not just the infobox. Thanks again :) — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 16:59, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that. I'll try to update that too from now on :D Ds1480 (talk) 02:46, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Varshangalkku Shesham edit

Hey, make sure the references you add are listed in WP:ICTFSOURCES. If they are not lsited or their notability and reliability is not achieved in WP:RSN, do not use those for citing. So please remove the sources that aren't reliable. Thanks. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 14:50, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Herald, Sorry for my actions. I'll revert the changes asap. I appreciate your guidance and hopefully you'll continue doing it. :D Ds1480 (talk) 02:55, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
No worries :) The Herald (Benison) (talk) 04:14, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hey, Asianet was using Sacnilk.com, which is unreliable per ICTFSOURCES and comes under WP:FRUIT. Hence, I have removed it. Thanks. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 05:17, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Again, you are ignoring WP:FRUIT. IE used Sacnilk.com. Please read the references in depth before adding them. Thanks again. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 12:15, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
My Bad! I have changed it back to the old collection. Ds1480 (talk) 12:35, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

April 2024 edit

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. Really? Read WP:TOI and WP:ICTFSOURCES in depth. You've been warned multiple times now. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 14:17, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello @The Herald, Ds1480 (talk) 15:06, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I thought TOI's articles, which use Sacnilk's reports as sources, were considered unreliable. If it is true, then that article doesn't mention Sacnilk. Ds1480 (talk) 15:07, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Read up the links. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 15:19, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Filmibeat.com is not reliable. See WP:ICTFSOURCES. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 05:07, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I didn't use any of FilmiBeat's reports? Ds1480 (talk) 03:07, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Here. Yes, I know you aren't the one who added it in the first place, but building upon the edit is also not right. I have removed and replaced it with another one for now but just be extra careful next time. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 05:44, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
