London Bridge edit

Hi there, I reverted your edits on this article, where you were flipping the order of the imperial and metric measurements. There's no problem listing imperial measurements first in a UK (or US) article and generally you should just leave them the way they are, unless there's another reaosn to change. Thanks/wangi 13:21, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ditto High Level Bridge; I endorse Wangi: don't change them unless you have good reason, which in this case we think you have not. Thanks. --Tagishsimon (talk)

Page blanking edit

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Josh Partington. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! --HarryCane 11:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Two members of the band have brief biographies, so I think it is more consistant to link to the other members as well, even though they're descriptions are empty. It isn't wrong to link to non-existing information, it only encourages other writers to give some information. A redirect 'misleads' users, in my opinion. -- Dryke 12:08, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Interwiki edit

You added to category:skeleton athletes langlaufer. Isn't that cross-country skiing, not skeleton? Andjam 12:10, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sharp remark, I used a link from a sporter and you're probably correct. Thanks! Dryke 12:11, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fokker G.I. edit

This was the first picture I ever added and at the time I was not so up to date about the copyright policies (which have changed in the meantime). The listed web site was only one of several using the image. The listed web site has changed considerably in the meantime too. If I presume correctly this pictures belongs to either Fokker (which is now defunct), or to the historical archives of the Royal Dutch Air Force. I will look into it, when I have time. Probably the image can be used if an attribution is made (like with the historical images of the Royal Netherlands Navy). Paaskynen 05:58, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok that's clear to me. I should apply a tag to it for possible copyrights violation, but I'll wait a while until you sorted it out. Dryke 10:34, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
According to NIMH this picture was widely used even before the war. I have obtained permission from them to use the image with attribution. I have adapted the text on the image page. Paaskynen 08:30, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

AutoWikiBrowser edit

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp 17:36, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Missing image Image:Calamus bajonado.jpg edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Calamus bajonado.jpg, by Strangerer, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Calamus bajonado.jpg is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Calamus bajonado.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Calamus bajonado.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:16, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
