Puerto Rico

edit

I have added the climate and transportation information to the Puerto Rico article. I believe the politics information was already covered in the article so I did not add it. The section needs to be cleaned up though. Take care. Joelito (talk) 14:15, 15 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Let me address your suggestions individually.
  • Organization - The organization layout you proposed created a complex ToC. The table of contents should be as simple as possible. Creating so many subdivisions is, in my opinion, unnecessary. See India and Belgium for great country articles with simple, useful and intituive section divisions.
  • External links - I agree that there are many external links but since all are official websites it is not a big concern for me. However I do not mind removing a few as long as only official links remain. This issue was discussed here.
  • Topics in Puerto Rico template. This template was created to avoid people inserting articles in the see also section which although related to Puerto Rico were not of immediate relevance. Example, people adding Iván Rodríguez to the see also section. Also many small revert wars occured because of the see also section before the template was created.
  • Did you know - The issue of the DYK was extensively debated here and here. Joelito (talk) 16:24, 15 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
You may discuss your proposed changes in the talk page to see if they gain concensus. If concensus is reached the changes will be implemented. Joelito (talk) 17:40, 15 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

After some consideration and looking through other country article I made some layout changes to the Puerto Rico article. I merged flora and fauna into geography and education into demographics. I also moved administrative divisions below politics. Hope that is to your liking. Joelito (talk) 16:02, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Flora and Fauna of Puerto Rico is one of my future projects. I am building smaller articles first such as List of Puerto Rican birds, Herpetofauna of Puerto Rico, individual endemic species articles, etc., then I will proceed to write the article that unites them. UPRRP

edit

Yeah, I speak Spanish as my mother tongue. I'm looking for references, but that's the info given in la Comisión por la Verdad y Justicia and the mural painting in Humanities. If you had any comments on UPRRP (I'm trying to complete all the info) please do so, I will need a lot of help on it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rashido (talkcontribs)

By the way, where did ya heard that of the 90° bullet...? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rashido (talkcontribs)

Good catch on suggesting these two categories be merged. What is the procedure to merge them? MKil 17:47, 21 January 2007 (UTC)MKilReply
