January 2016 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Drone racing. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Hi Box Of Chickens. I am new to editing pages. Im not sure what your objection to my edits are? I am not promoting anything other than the sport of FPV racing. Please be clear about what it is that you object to.DroneKing (talk) 19:33, 19 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of AYK Radient edit

The article AYK Radient has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

For WP:NOPAGE, can easily be addressed by expanding the information found at Aoyagi Metals Company

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. re: RC10 PAGE edit

Hi, I'm glad I'm not on my own with all this as the workload was becoming too huge plus I am trying o juggle all these articles with other non-R/C stuffs as I'm trying to get them done in time for the IFMAR Worlds.

Since you offered to help, what sources do you have but then you could help if you wish though I plan to put it out when I done all the other IFMAR Worlds/ROAR Nationals/EFRA Euros articles to put them into a single WP:DYK nomination.

What I've done with the article since it's been userified is to attempt to split the articles into fragments, just to see if I can get them expanded to become articles on its own. Because the most recent Worlds had just gone (October), it became less of a priority to those of the other big classes (i.e. 1/8 off-road and 1/10 electric touring). This is a link (User:Donnie Park/Associated RC10) to show what I've done so far if you want to have a go at it.

In case you need sources for any of your articles, I'll provide the links to help you though the bottom one is mainly French and the one above, some in English and some in Japanese

In case you want more R/C car articles to do, I could give you a list if you want as I wanted to bring back the articles of Hobby Products International and XRAY Model Racing Cars that had been deleted.

For your article and others, ever considered using an infobox? That's as I realised I could adapt a template:Infobox racing car template, the Tamiya Avante article will show how it's being used.

Once your article is done, ever thought of getting it nominated for WP:DYK? Again, thanks for your assistance. Donnie Park (talk) 02:38, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you said why it was taken down? Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Associated RC10, this was weeks before it was inducted into display at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Donnie Park (talk) 15:01, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
