Editing Issues

I had suggested that Pancharatna Kriti be enhanced by merging information from Endaro Mahaanubhaavulu for the 5th kriti in the set. Looks like Drmulgund has just done that, but gets slammed for vandalism. Kindly review the two pages, before making such accusations. Agreed that it needs some copy editing, before getting merged - hence I myself did not do it in the first place. Existing text merged in this fashion can be allowed, right? Hi there, while this edit is debatable, with this edit, the user simply copied and pasted an entirely separate article into here without even removing the [edit] links! Also, before merging the article(s), you must state the reason behind doing so on the article's talk page, gain consensus, and then redirect the original page to the 'merged page', rather then leaving it intact.
If you need any help on this issue with merging/editing, please do not hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page. I will accept the aforementioned edits as being in 'good faith' and have removed the redundant user-talk warnings. --Flewis(talk) i thank administrator for considering my edit is in good faith. and also thank vasuVR for bringing up the issue but two pages need to be merged 10:05, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Your edits on Carnatic music

edit

An administrator deleted the template containing all vernacular scripts of Carnatic music - in languages Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telegu, Urdu, among others, because it was deemed inappropriate for the article on English Wikipedia. Please refrain from reinserting this content. Thank you - Ncmvocalist (talk) 14:26, 10 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
