If people are dyeing pink cats, that could explain the apparent rarity of pink cats. They are out there, but in disguise. It behoves us to examine any suspect cat as closely as the claws permit to check for signs of the pink growing back. Pink cats have rights and they need not be closeted and made to masquerade.
