ColorZilla

edit

I have reverted your change from 'color' to 'colour' in List of Firefox extensions. As the extension ColorZilla is based upon American English, its description should follow suit. For more details, you can refer to the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Thank you, Rurik (talk) 14:19, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion nomination of Summer of Sonic

edit

A tag has been placed on Summer of Sonic, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 17:28, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop changing "Colors" to "Colours" like you did "Tails"_Prower&action=historysubmit&diff=375965105&oldid=375961748 here. It might be helpful for you to read Wikipedia policy on the subject. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 19:58, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Miles "Tails" Prower. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. SQGibbon (talk) 20:10, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Miles "Tails" Prower. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Grayshi talk my contribs 20:24, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm SQGibbon. Your recent edit to the page Resident Evil 3: Nemesis appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SQGibbon (talk) 14:12, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I removed your link for a reason and I've removed it again as per WP:ELOFFICIAL which when talking about links to official websites does not allow links to fundraising sites "This exemption does not allow for additional 'official' links such as those found on fundraising websites." Basically Wikipedia is not a tool for subjects to promote themselves or be promoted by other people. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 21:16, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Oh! Edo Rocket, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shō Aikawa. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:42, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

National varieties of English

edit

In a recent edit to the page Sonic Mania, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 20:16, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
