Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Kissingen Springs Bartow, Florida has been reverted.
Your edit here to Kissingen Springs Bartow, Florida was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.pbase.com/floridageologicalsurvey/image/64778703) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Kissengen Springs

edit

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia...I am the primary author of the Bartow article and I just noticed your article Kissingen Springs Bartow, Florida. It is a pretty impressive work for a new editor here on Wikipedia. A few notes though:

  • I've changed the name per WP:NAME which says that an article title should be at its most common name. If there were more than one Kissingen Springs, your title would have been the place for it.
  • The article reads more like a brochure or pamphlet of some sort. Remember this is an encyclopedia and it should read like one. Which isn't to say that it's bad prose or anything like that- it just doesn't sound like an encyclopedia should.

If there's any help you need with this article, I'd be glad to help. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page.

Kissingen Springs

edit

Hi there. I noticed you blanked Kissingen Springs, an article that you created, with the desire that it be deleted. While Wikipedia does have a speedy-deletion criterion, G7, that allows for the deletion of an article at the author's request, it requires that the article not have been substantially worked on in good faith by other editors, which this article has been. If you wish to have the article deleted you need to go through the Articles for Deletion process, and whether or not the article is retained will be judged on its notability and verifiability through reliable sources. Thank you. - The Bushranger One ping only 14:19, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • If you wish to have the article that you have created, Kissingen Springs, deleted, you need to nominate it for deletion through the Articles for Deletion process. Please note though that "I created the article and now want it deleted" is not a valid reason for deletion; others have substantially worked on the article, making it ineligible to be deleted under that criterion; an article creator does not own his articles. Every Wikipedia edit page contains the caution above the submit button, "By clicking the "Save Page" button, you...irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL." - The Bushranger One ping only 17:58, 24 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
