Indian jurisdiction infobox

edit

I have corrected (again) the use of the "other name" field in the infobox on Simalthu. The documentation for the {{tl:Infobox Indian jurisdicion}} template call for the "native_name" field to be written in Indian English. (This is, after all, the Engish Wikipedia.) Local language names (such as the Gujarati or Hindi names) should be listed under "other_name". This prevents poor formatting of the template header and the pin-map labels as happens when one tries to put all three names in the "native_name" field. Thank you for uploading File:ChoraFariyu.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 02:34, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have added a number of photographs to the Simalthu article. Unfortunately, these photographs do no substantially improve the article. They do not illustrate any particular points in the article, but rather appear to be random snapshots of unremarkable scenes around the village. Since Wikipedia is not intended to be a photo album or travelogue, it is not clear that these photos are appropriate for the article. If you disagree, please let me know, otherwise I will remove them from the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:10, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
