Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia. Before you make edits to articles, can I suggest you read the policy pages at WP:RS, WP:NPOV, WP:BLP, WP:V and WP:NOR? These are especially important with regard to personal knowledge that you have about a subject. Even though you know some relevant fact from personal experience, or know that some statement in an article is incorrect, you still need to provide "reliable sources" (such as newspaper articles) to support your assertions. These rules apply to everyone, even to acknowledged experts in their fields and the persons who are the subjects of articles. If in doubt, describe the problem on the article talk page. Cheers. You are most welcome edit

It was my pleasure. I'm sorry for how you have been treated here (both in terms of how the article about was written and in how you were blocked for trying to correct an obvous hit piece). I hope that in the future editors working on your page are more careful to abide by our policies on biographies of living people. I also wish you the best in your personal and professional life. People who are pioneers in the Arab and Muslim North American communities often have to endure much suffering, but you should take heart that things will be easier for those to follow, and hopefully for you as well in the near future. Warm regards, Tiamuttalk 16:30, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
