Edit warring edit

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

Your recent edits here and here violate the 1RR. I recommend you self-revert and avoid edit warring in the future. If you have concerns regarding the article, they can be resolved in a civil discussion. WarKosign 06:37, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

November 2014 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Israeli barrier. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you.
Note that the article is under WP:1RR restrictions. An editor may only make 1 revert per 24 hour period. Stickee (talk) 08:52, 8 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

AE report edit

I have filed a report at WP:AE regarding your actions. See this. WarKosign 09:12, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Well when your ally's block of me is over I will file an AE against you for your racist edits. Dr. R.R. Pickles (talk) 16:17, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Enough edit

To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked temporarily from editing. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and then appeal your block using the instructions there.

Reminder to administrators: In March 2010, ArbCom adopted a procedure instructing administrators as follows: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped." Administrators who reverse this block without the clear authorisation described in that procedure will be summarily desysopped.

This is in relation to the personal attack against User:Irondome on my talk page, which I gave you an opportunity to strike, and your general battleground mentality. Consider it a shot across the bows—if you carry on the way you're going, you'll end up topic-banned or permanently blocked. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:18, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Tell me why Irondome put the Western wall (not in Israel) in Israel. Give me the real reason. Dr. R.R. Pickles (talk) 16:19, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Why have you never blocked the racist vandalizing IPs?!?!?!?!?! Do I have the right to vandalize your talkpage and call you a Jew? Why do you give that right to IPs?!?!?!
HJ Mitchell, go act like your friends, go place Palestinian places in Israel, delete only the Arabic name from Israeli politicans, call anyone who opposes you an Arab, don't support them from the shadows, join the movement, make your local EDL proud! Dr. R.R. Pickles (talk) 16:33, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
I didn't block the IPs because I recommended that somebody engage with the user behind them as the first step, which Irondome is doing. The Western Wall is controlled by Israel, so the merits of the edit can be debated (I'm not saying the edit was correct, but the talk page is there for you to start a discussion), and none of that justifies personal attacks, which is why you're blocked. And for that remark, I've extended your block to a a week and revoked your talk page access your talk-page access. In case you calm down, you still have access to email, or if you want another admin to look at the block, you can use WP:UTRS. You can also email ArbCom at arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org.
