Deletion discussion for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/S3M edit

Hello, I noticed you have asked the user who nominated the article for discussion to remove the nom. I thought I should point out that not everything has an article here at Wikipedia, and there are guidelines to determine which articles are deleted. Please read this notability guideline, as your item doesn't appear to meet any of the notability criteria. We also need to be able to verify all information, so there needs to be citations from reliable sources. This is not a personal attack on you, or your product, but I'm sure you understand that if there weren't rules regarding inclusion, Wikipedia would just become a vehicle for advertising, social networking etc.. - Toon05 18:06, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'd also suggest not recreating the material on the page by cut-and-paste - use the "move" tool at the top of the page, but you will need to wait until the AfD is decided to do it to this article, for the sake of clarity. Thanks! - Toon05 00:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Use of the name Dr.Pigosky edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: You have been editing S3M which references the work of Dr.Pigosky. The page is subject to Afd discussion which has in turn been subject to meatpuppet abuse and it is likely that you are the same person. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. —Ashleyvh (talk) 14:54, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Page creation in attempt to avoid Afd edit

Hi, I notice from this page's history that you removed the note below. As another user has deleted the page you created and added a re-direct instead, I assume that you now understand how the Afd process works? If you have any questions perhaps you can add them to the Afd discussion page for S3M rather than attempting to circumvent the process.—Ashleyvh (talk) 15:03, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Software Maintenance Maturity Model edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Software Maintenance Maturity Model, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: S3M. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:13, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
