What's next on the article list for you?

edit

Although I am not pleased with 347, we'll have to deal with it. We have Route 1 Business left in the US portion along with 9W. We have less and less state routes left: 153, 164, 1, 18N, 92 and 60. Outside of interstates and the main list, what's the plan?Mitch32(A fortune in fabulous articles can be yours!) 16:15, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am possibly thinking to keep 171 as-is and strike it. I'd also say go for 195 first. Remember this, 195 is internally the former Route 37 Freeway. When they do construction contracts for Route 195, they have to name (Route 37F) in the name as well. I will probably do the rest of the state routes, although 92 is getting more and more boring the more I have to write about it. 164 needs its history and it should be done - its still in its sandbox. 153 has a waiting sandbox still. 1 and 18N when I bother to finish it.Mitch32(A fortune in fabulous articles can be yours!) 16:46, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

92 done! Finally. I see the work on 195 and now 280, nice job! We're getting there slowly but surely.Mitch32(Live from the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood. "When they do construction contracts for Route 195, they have to name (Route 37F) in the name as well." What? http://www.state.nj.us/transportation/capital/tcp04f/route/sec3rt195.pdf doesn't mention 37F at all. --NE2 19:24, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I have bent and removed the Google Maps footnotes from the article. I assume that was your major nuance from supporting at this point. Dabomb has asked that I have you respond to this discussion, if that is the case, before I renominate the article. Cheers, ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 20:35, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

US 322 in PA major intersections

edit

Why did you remove the table? It took me a lot of time to do it. I'm putting it back unless you can give me a good reason to remove it. Thanks.

Move it down to the Exit list section, not in the middle of the PA section.Mitch32(We the people in order to form a more perfect union.) 12:04, 24 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Interstate 359

edit

Hello! I noticed you made a few edits on the Interstate 359 article to revert to MoS. Thanks for that as I have not been very active in road pages as of late. However, if you have a couple of minutes, could you give me some thoughts on what else is needed to get this to GA status? I modeled it after the Interstate 296 article which was recently promoted to GA and is of a similar length to I-359. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Patriarca12 (talk) 22:31, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

You did a damned good job. I can tell you that now, and I give you a lot of credit :) - Had to fix the junction list, but good job. Mitch32(Growing up with Wikipedia 1 edit at a time.) 22:48, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the good words. I'll tweak it a little more and then see if I can make it the first Alabama road-related GA! Patriarca12 (talk) 01:06, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

PA 45 to US 46

edit

You recently undid my revision to the article navigator in the infobox at Pennsylvania Route 45. Please advise on whatever rule or guideline requires the ridiculous navigation to US 46 from PA 45, when there is also a Pennsylvania Route 46 that currently exists in the state. PA 46 is more notable, in relation to PA 45, than US 46 which does not even currently exist in Pennsylvania, making this article navigation scheme nonsensical. If there is a US highway but no state highway of the same number (such as US 19 after PA 18), the scheme makes a little more sense. --DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 04:00, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

PA 653 Truck

edit

I see you've replaced the bad information. First, do you have a source for "The highway was created to bypass a narrow bridge over Coxes Creek"? It could have been a wide weak bridge, or a narrow roadway leading up to the bridge, or several other things. Also, I don't have the ADC map, but the Google Maps source you added shows Garrett Road, not Gebhart Road. Google also shows a length of 1.4 miles, a far cry from one mile on each roadway. Finally, Google is unclear about whether the name is Water Level Road or Main Street (the former might also continue into Rockwood); perhaps the PennDOT videolog would be a better source (as the roads are state-maintained quadrant routes). Please be more careful with sources. --NE2 19:22, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. There's still no source for the bridge being the reason for the truck bypass; for instance trucks may be banned from congested areas (doesn't apply here) or narrow roads. --NE2 01:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

U.S. Route 30 in Iowa

edit

Hello, I see you nominated U.S. Route 30 in Iowa to GA, but you forgot to put a {{good article}} on the article. I have some fun putting |oldid parametre on the GAs template on the discussion pages, so I hope you will do that too. Christian75 (talk) 20:09, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I just stumbled upon the Lincoln highway page and saw your edit. Thanks for Bannered routes. I also saw you edited the Rt. 35 and 36 pages. BTW, I live at the intersection of those two roads in Eatontown. Major construction going on there. It used to be circle, up until late 80's. Ttoclad (talk) 15:04, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dough: I see that in the article List of Canada – United States border crossings, you removed the highway shields that I had included in the table of junctions with Canadian highways. What was your rationale for doing this? Wbaron (talk) 01:46, 20 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
