I recently read the entries for Simone de Beauvoir and Jean Paul Sartre. I was struck by the fact that de Beauvoir's biography contained quite a bit of explicit detail about sexual relations, - for instance, that she seduced female students, then introduced them to Sartre, also that de B and S later regretted the harmful effect this had had on one of the students. But the only thing in Sartre's biography is that he and de B had a long relationship which was however not monogamous. Is there some kind of bias going on here?
