Pope Pius XII

edit

I also welcome you to Wikipedia. However, I would beg you to please not make major one-sided changes to Pope Pius XII without talk page consensus. Both str1977 and myself have reverted you on this manner. May I suggest that as a token of your good faith you discontinue adding the same information over and over and instead participate on the talk page discussion. I also feel obliged at this point to inform you about the Three Revert Rule, which you should read up on. I beg you: if you discuss your changes and wait until others have agreed with you, the editting process will be better for all. savidan(talk) (e@) 19:43, 5 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule on a page. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from further editing. savidan(talk) (e@)
I find it kitschy that you performed your fourth revert exactly 24 hours and one minute after your first. Please note that the 3RR is not an indicate of a right to 3 reverts in 24 hours. I implore you: stop trying to sneak your biased version of the article in without edit summaries and instead try to respect and work towards talk page consensus. savidan(talk) (e@) 18:26, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Erika Steinbach

edit

What is the POV problem you find in the article version you are reverting? Could you explain, besides claiming it is obvious? In particular, what do you think is the correct way to describe the status of Rumia in 1939-1945? Pozdrawiam. Balcer 19:49, 5 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pope Pius XII Userbox

edit

I just thought I should let you know that the image used in your userbox is a fair use image and thus not one that should be used in the userspace. The same with the images of Pope Benedict XVI. Only free images may be used in this manner. The only free image currently uploaded for Pius XII is the one of his ordaination; I know of none for Benedict XVI. I will give you a chance to remove these yourself as it is your userpage. savidan(talk) (e@) 21:59, 5 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've actually just edited your page to remove these fair use images. I have replaced them with free images of the two popes. If you would like an explanation of why this was done, please read through User:Durin/Removal of fair use images and feel free to ask any questions you might have on my talk page. Thank you. —Mira 01:26, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why not take Lysy's advice and revert back? Honestly... Sciurinæ 22:14, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just a note, you are one revert away from violating the three-revert rule on Erika Steinbach (again). —Mira 22:24, 8 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. If you continue to make personal attacks, you may be blocked for disruption.

Edits like this or edit summaries like that are clearly unacceptable abakharev 05:55, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. If you continue to remove or vandalize warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. --Pilotguy (roger that) 23:22, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

A note on your talk page

edit

A quick look through your talk page history indicates that the comments you removed as "rv vandal" were anything but. You removed 3RR warnings, personal attack warnings, and block notifications. Feel free to respond to them on your talk page, but removing them is generally considered inappropriate by the Wikipedia community. savidan(talk) (e@) 17:17, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. Removing warnings from your talk page is considered vandalism. You will be blocked from editing Wikipedia and your talk page will be protected from editing if you do it again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alex_Bakharev (talkcontribs) 22:33, 11 July 2006.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
