Guideline for Entries

  1. All entries must be marked with a tag looking like this...
      • "nickname" = [[name]],   [[discipline gained notability in]] "occupation"<ref>source</ref>
      An example of this would be *"Schumi" = '''[[Michael Schumacher]]''', {{flagicon|GER}} [[Formula One]] driver
  2. This list is for people who are considered notable per WP:Notability guidelines with an article of its own, anything without an article will be removed without warning.
  3. Entries without a reliable third party sources will be removed without notice, regardless how notable the nickname is.
  4. Only people who are associated with motorsport to the point that they are well known for its association (drivers, team managers) are eligible for inclusion, those who loosely are (e.g. customizers (unless their involvement in motorsport in strong), TV presenters of a motorsport TV show unless they have a strong association with the sport (Murray Walker for example)) are not eligible (i.e. people) for inclusion
  5. Please add reason of nickname (or why this nickname was given to them) within a "<ref group=note></ref>" tag at the end of the entry if possible, should a reliable third party source to explain it exist.
  6. People: No truncated forms of the person's actual firstnames can be included (e.g. Bob, Dick) unless it differ from the person's forename, regardless of the person's nationality.
