Bahamas Speed Week race results moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Bahamas Speed Week race results, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello!

edit

Hi Donki287. It's good to see another new editor with an interest in the history of motor racing! Just a few things I'd like to mention:

I saw your edit to 1967 Can-Am season. There's nothing wrong with the edit you made except that it shouldn't have been marked as a minor edit. Minor edits are really only meant for small changes to layout, or corrections of typos or grammatical errors, not edits which add or remove content. Also as a courtesy it's often good to leave an edit summary.

I've had a quick look at your draft articles. They are quite good however they need to include references to reliable sources as this is what Wikipedia is built on. See Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:Reliable sources and Wikipedia:No original research for more info.

Also, if you haven't already, I'd like to extend to you an invitation (not that an invitation is required!) to join some (or all) of the motor sport Wikiprojects on Wikipedia. Have a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Motorsport, and the list of "child projects", Wikipedia:WikiProject Motorsport#Child WikiProjects.

If you have any questions you can put them here or on my talk page, or if you want help from a wider audience of editors you can put questions on one of the motorsport wikiproject talk pages. Thanks. A7V2 (talk) 23:56, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
