Dmytro Borodin edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dmytro Borodin, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.junioreurovision.tv/page/blog?id=5003&_t=Get+to+know+Dmytro+-+the+youngest+host!. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion nomination of Dmytro Borodin edit

A tag has been placed on Dmytro Borodin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Favonian (talk) 13:15, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not create articles based on a copy and paste of material from European Broadcasting Union (EBU) website's such as Eurovision.tv or Junior Eurovision.tv. It clearly states on the bottom of these websites "Copyright EBU 2004-2009 All rights reserved", so adding such material is a copyright violation. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and persistent offenders will be blocked from editing. You are welcome to create Dmytro Borodin and other articles, but they should be in your own words. Camaron · Christopher · talk 13:27, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Moving pages edit

Hi, I have reverted your cut-and-paste page move of Serbia and Montenegro to The State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. I did this primarily because cut-and-paste is the wrong way to change page titles; if you want to move a page, you should use the "move" button. (See WP:MOVE for more details.) In addition, Wikipedia articles about countries generally use the common name (in particular, the most commonly used name in English) rather than the official name of the country. If you want to move the article to a different name, it's probably best to make a move request and discuss it on the article talk page. Thanks! +Angr 15:35, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Alban Skenderaj edit

A tag has been placed on Alban Skenderaj requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

The article Turkey in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources have been given to verify the basis for this article. Nor does is meet notability guidelines.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Manual of style edit

Please review the Wikipedia:Manual of style. Per WP:&, ampersands should not be used in articles unless it is the title of a work or organisation. They may also be used when there is a space limitation, though this does not apply here and all other entries in this table use "and" rather than "&". If you object to my interpretation of this guideline then please raise it on the talk page rather than just silently reverting. Camaron · Christopher · talk 21:42, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Narodnozabavni rock edit

You have already been told several times on this talk page by several users not to make cut and paste moves. Yet you are still doing it: [1], [2]. Cut and paste moves edit

You have already been told three times on this page not to make cut (copy) and paste moves. Yet you have done it yet again: [3], [4]. In this case non-administrators are not able to move the page and it must go Wikipedia:Requested moves. This is good in this case since it has already been discussed at Talk:Nuk mundem pa ty#Requested move, and you are obliged to start a new discussion if you want the page to be moved again. Cut and paste moves take a significant amount of administrators time fixing - and those which are not picked up quickly can take 15 to 30 minutes each. Worse still, when you make a cut and paste move you are violating the CC-BY-SA 3.0 licence by falsely attributing others work to yourself which is a copyright violation and is against the law. For these reasons, users who persistently make cut and paste moves after being warned may be blocked for disruption. Camaron · Christopher · talk 18:48, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Juliana Pasha 2010.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Juliana Pasha 2010.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Camaron · Christopher · talk 13:30, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Donika Nuhiu edit

A tag has been placed on Donika Nuhiu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Melodifestivalen 2011 Results.png edit

Thank you for uploading File:Melodifestivalen 2011 Results.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. CT Cooper · talk 20:41, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:The_Voice_of_Albania_Logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The_Voice_of_Albania_Logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Rita Ora edit

Hello. Please be aware that the information on this edit is inconsistent. The infobox states she was born in Pristina to which you righty added now Kosovo, but on the intro you removed her Serbo-Croat selling and declared her birthplace Albania. Sources for this subject are hard to find but they can't both be correct. If indeed she was born in Albania, I shall gladly remove her Slavic spelling system myself; if she was born in Pristina, then it has to stay because of the policy for individuals born on that territory and how we present them on Wikipedia. If you feel there is need to distinguish some Kosovan-born people from others, you need to open a discussion and allow other users to put their views forward. Or, as I manage a lot of this section myself, you can discuss this with me any time you wish here on or my talk. Thanks. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 13:34, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Message from the Editorial Team

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome!

Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. It is easy for editors to get into conflict with each other, and things can get very nasty on the most trivial of issues, whether that be on the language of songs, the names of certain countries, or how we deal with incidents at the contest. In such circumstances it is worth remembering one thing: we are all here to build an encyclopedia, and the contribution of Eurovision to human knowledge can only be given justice if we work together and make articles, not drama!

  • If you would like something to appear in the August 2012 Edition of the newsletter, then please inform us at the Project Newsdesk.
  • If there is an article you think we should have? Request it here.

Happy editing!

Project News
  • When creating new articles about a performer or song, please remember to add sources either from Eurovision.tv, ESCToday or other reliable sources. If you're not sure a source is reliable enough, then ask the project for an opinion.
  • Remember to only add content to articles that is relevant to the article's main subject. Anything not in relation to the article may be questioned and/or subject to redirection to an article that would benefit it's inclusion. Again if in doubt, ask on the article or project talk pages for an opinion - communication is an important tool.
  • On the subject of communication, please make use of the article talk pages. They are a vital tool in conducting consensus talks of additions of proposed new sections and/or removal of unnecessary section. If you don't use these pages to put across your views, then you only have yourself to blame if actions are taken that you disagree with and you end up wandering into edit warring territory.
  • The 2012 season of Eurovision has drawn to a close, and we now start preparations for the 2013 edition. While things will be slow to start of with, now is the ideal opportunity to do a clean-up exercise across articles relating to the project. There's over 4,500 articles associated with the project. If you happen to see a Eurovision related article without the {{EurovisionNotice}} template on the article's talk page, please add it. You can also read Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment if you would like to help assess or reassess articles in our project if you see that they have outgrown their current assessment. There is currently one unassessed article.
  • And finally... a massive thank you to all members of the project for your constant hard work on collaborating and contributing to Eurovision related articles. Keep up the good work team!

Project Alerts
Headlines
Project Gossip
  • The RfC discussion in regards to article layout, is still taking place on the project talk page. Could all members please ensure that they participate in the discussion so that we can all agree on important article structure issues. If you don't take part, then you only have yourselves to blame if a consensus is passed that you disagree with.

WikiProject Eurovision: Recent changes edit

Hello,

Please note that there have been some changes to operations surrounding Eurovision articles, these being that:

  • Template names have now been modernised and/or megred into super-templates, for example Countries in the Eurovision Song Contest has now been merged into Template:Eurovision Song Contest making it even easier to find everything under one template. If you are planning to create a new template, please keep the standardised titles in mind. Other templates have been modernised and a full list of them can be found here.
  • The Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest articles have now been standardised to keep a consitancy throughout the project and to the genral reader too. Skeleton article drafts can be found for Eurovision Song Contest by Year and Junior Eurovision Song Contest by Year.

If you have any questions, please ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision.

Eurovision Song Contest 2012 edit

Hi Donikanuhiu,

Just a quick note to let you know that this recent addition to Eurovision Song Contest 2012 has been removed per guidelines at WP:NOTSTATSBOOK. There are some data that just never gets included into Eurovision articles such as viewing figures, which are classified as a list of statistics and fails notability per the guidance fount at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. This is why a full list of viewing figures have never been included on previous articles. Hope you understand this reason. Regards, Wesley Mouse 10:11, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The article Elhaida Dani has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Proposed deletion of Tallava edit

The article Tallava has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An article which is based on original research and hasn't got a single source to verify the subject's notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Šarlote Lēnmane requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Ndihme mbi artikuj per Shqiptare neper bote edit

Kam nevoje per ndihmen e dikujt qe kupton proceset e wikipedia me mire se une. Gjeta faqen WikiProjects Albania dhe pashe qe jeni pjestar.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleni_Foureira https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ermal_Meta

Faleminderit. Talksensenow (talk) 18:08, 13 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Alketa Vejsiu edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Alketa Vejsiu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
