Vandalism

I'll keep an eye out for the vandal at Emblem of Vietnam. Are there any other pages it frequents that I should watch? - ZLEA T\C 21:57, 7 April 2022 (UTC)

@ZLEA:, usually Musée Annam (known locally here as "Unserefahne") tends to edit articles about "duck history" and "duck political parties" (Vietnamese, but he keeps calling it "Duck nam" and speaks "Duck"). Any article about Vietnamese flags, other symbols, Etc. in general his edits are poor of quality and are quickly reverted.
Personally I'm against systemically reverting his edits as he actually does make good edits every now and then and often puts good information online that isn't found anywhere else, but generally speaking he can't provide sources and only ever provides his arrogance into discussions...
Unrelated, but your stance on coin scans was completely true. One of the reasons that I'm taking "a prolonged break from Wikipedia" is because I am busy importing coin scans, a new template was created over at the Wikimedia Commons so perhaps in the distant future we could get a competition for importing scans of coins, but I read some interesting copyright information about coins so I'm going to approach the Wikimedia Foundation's legal department after consulting some copyright lawyers for advice, as we might expect "a coin revolution" at Wikipedia soon. --Donald Trung (talk) 08:12, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
That's great news! Due to the low turnout of the banknote competition, I wouldn't expect a coin competition in the near future, but I will keep it as a possibility if the project becomes more active. - ZLEA T\C 12:52, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
ZLEA, I figured out why the banknote competition failed, it was only advertised in Wikimedia websites and had a limited reach. If we could advertise it at coin forums and banknote forums it would probably succeed. Edit-a-thons at Wikipedia are often organised for groups, I'm sure that if we'd announce it 6 months in advance in multiple places that we'd see multiple people show up. -- Donald Trung (talk) 13:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
That's a good idea. - ZLEA T\C 13:41, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

OK? --Chiang Wan-an (talk) 20:45, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

@Chiang Wan-an:, these look fine but generally speaking I don't do biographies of living people, I made one exception last year but I'm not planning on making that a trend. If you'll make a stub I can help develop it for you when I'll find the time... --Donald Trung (talk) 12:21, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
