Ellen Alexander (actress) moved to draftspace

edit

Thank you for making paid editing disclosuures on your user page. To fully comply with our paid editing policies, please submit new articles through Articles for Creation rather than moving them to mainspace yourself. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can easily submit it to AfC. Please also place a disclosure template on the talk page of the article, Talk:Ellen Alexander (actress), following the instructions at Wikipedia:Paid-contribution_disclosure#How_to_disclose. Once you have done that and the article is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 20:55, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Rosguill:, I understand it's recommended that paid editors submit their articles through AfC rather than directly to main space as per what I read online. But, does it always have to be this way? I have previously seen, on a couple of occasions, articles that didn't go through that process. Either way, I have submitted the article to be reviewed. Domnipal (talk) 13:38, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
We're an all-volunteer project so things sometimes slip through the cracks. Submitting through AfC is the proper process for editors with declared COIs. signed, Rosguill talk 17:24, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I understand. Thank you. Domnipal (talk) 09:41, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Rosguill:, Robert McClenon has taken away my ability to resubmit the article. I only submitted one time, was declined by him. They said they won't cooperate or even discuss it and left me with no option. For context, please check the talk page of Draft:Ellen Alexander (actress) and my conversation with him. I also laid out an explanation for why I think the subject is notable and gave my rationale there. Domnipal (talk) 20:05, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The draft was reviewed and declined. Because the draft has been submitted multiple times (not just by you) despite falling short of meeting notability guidelines, and because of your hostility to the AfC reviewer, it has now been rejected. I see no reason to grant a further appeal. signed, Rosguill talk 20:15, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
But I wasn't hostile to the reviewer. He is the one who was hostile to me and admitted to being so. I was also planning to submit a second time to get someone to discuss it on talk page after I gave an explanation as to why I think the subject is notable. Submitting the article and getting the same result doesn't interest me ofc but I need to discuss it. Domnipal (talk) 03:51, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

To fully comply with WP:PAID you are requested to provide links on your Wikipedia user page to all active accounts at websites where you advertise, solicit or obtain paid Wikipedia-editing services. Thank you. GSS💬 13:35, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay will do that in a minute. I see you have redirected my submitted draft to a different article. I have reverted. Domnipal (talk) 13:40, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@GSS: Oh you have done that again while trying to edit. Domnipal (talk) 13:44, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
You just created the draft on the same subject under a different title so please don't remove the redirect and edit Draft:Ellen Alexander instead but before that, you need to fully comply with WP:PAID. GSS💬 13:48, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Okay will do that. Domnipal (talk) 13:51, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Man, you are so hostile. I was about to edit the code and you reverted again.Domnipal (talk) 14:02, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes because you keep violating WP:PAID that ask you to provide links on your Wikipedia user page to all active accounts at websites where you advertise, solicit or obtain paid Wikipedia-editing services and you need to disclose that how you were hired and where you advertise paid Wikipedia-editing services before making any further edit. GSS💬 14:05, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I didn't violate anything. I was reading how to place the template on the talk page and you reverted. I don't advertise my service anywhere. That was through a friend of mine. Any other question? Domnipal (talk) 14:07, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

And next time try to be nice and ask people nicely. Okay? Domnipal (talk) 14:08, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@GSS: I don't see a valid reason why you are doing what you are doing. You are acting in bad faith and abusing your privileges to enforce your opinion, that's something I'm sure of. But why? If I'm following what Wikipedia dictates for paid editing, yet you are dragging me through the mud and setting traps for no obvious reasons, then that is not okay. Domnipal (talk) 09:43, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to do this the right way and discuss things objectively, even though I suspect you will be able to do it, I'm down and will be happy to do this openly and objectively to the best of my abilities, but if you keep that hostile tone and unfriendly language, then please stay away. Domnipal (talk) 09:43, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Find yourself something useful to do. Read a book. Live a healthy life. Envision a dream and work for it. Challenge your thoughts and opinions. Be willing to cooperate with other people. Your conversations are pretty much the same thing. I spent sometime reading your conversations, unsurprsingly found lots and lots of discussions that went down that same path. Domnipal (talk) 09:46, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to resubmit the article. I don't know the rule on whether you, the same reviewer, are allowed to reject a second time, but if you are, let someone else you have no connection with decide objectively. And if you are willing to discuss it with me, why not? Let's do it man. But we are going to discuss things, what should be done and what shouldn't and why it can and can't be done and not accuse each other hopefully. Domnipal (talk) 09:50, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, as you did at User talk:Domnipal, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia.Insulting the reviewers is neither useful nor appropriate. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:26, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh I'm assuming bad faith not the other way around? I was shocked at what he was doing and the way he was doing things not giving me a chance to correct myself and comply with what needed to be done and what he asked for. And what part exactly was the disruptive editing? And what part was the insult? Sure I'm willing to stop and abide by the rules but please point those two out for me because I can see neither disruptive editing not insulting. Thank you. Your submission at Articles for creation: Ellen Alexander (December 27)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will not necessarily agree to a resubmission.

It should be noted that the reviewer has not decided that the topic is not notable. An article on the topic may be accepted in the future. However, there is no reason to think that this draft will become an article, and there is evidence that this draft will never become an article. If there is to be an article on this topic, this draft must first be blown up and started over.

If this draft is resubmitted without discussion and without starting it over, or if an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection by starting over, a partial block or a topic-ban may be requested against the submitting editor.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

There are several problems with draft:

  • This draft was Rejected on 13 August 2020 and is being resubmitted without discussing the causes for the rejection.
  • The current submitter is lecturing the reviewer, User:GSS, in a self-righteous manner, which is not useful and is not appropriate. Civility is the fourth pillar of Wikipedia, and is not limited to the avoidance of "dirty words", but involves treating other editors with respect and courtesy.

This draft is Rejected. This does not mean that the subject is not notable. It does mean that the current tag team of paid editors is obviously not going to submit a satisfactory draft that establishes notability of the subject. Do not resubmit this draft without first discussing with the reviewers. Do not attempt to resubmit this draft without first discussing with the reviewers. (Discussion with the reviewers will not necessarily result in permission to resubmit, but failure to discuss will result in sanctions.) If this draft is resubmitted or attempted to be resubmitted without prior permission, a partial block, topic-ban, or block will be requested. (As a paid editor, you should know that any of these sanctions will mean that you will not get paid.)

This draft has been Rejected. Do not attempt to resubmit it.
