A tag has been placed on Schraufnagel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SUBWAYguy 03:14, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cases's ladder is very important please do not delete it! edit

No reason to —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dominoes2007 (talkcontribs).

I am not an admin, so cannot delete an article. However, I am not convinced the site satisfies WP:WEB, which is why I tagged it. If an admin disagrees with me that it is a speedy candidate, I will accept that decision. Are there multiple, non-trivial reliable sources that would establish the site's notability? Has it won a notable award from a well known publication? These are things that would help the article's cause, and certantly cause me to retract my speedy tag. I have not yet found such. Re: I disagree edit

Re your message: I am not sure if you are referring to Schraufnagel or Case's Ladder. I believe you are referring to the Schraufnagel article. The article itself, was not deleted by me, I only deleted the corresponding Talk page after the article was deleted. The Schraufnagel article was deleted because the driver lacks enough notability for inclusion on Wikipedia. A winner at a local track event is not notable. Perhaps if he moves on to one of the national series like NASCAR, he will be notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. If you are referring to the Case's Ladder article, then that is going through the AfD process where it's notability will be discussed. -- Gogo Dodo 07:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notability of The Duttons edit

Hi Dominoes. I'm wondering why you think The Duttons, an article you made, is notable. It seems their only thing that would give them any notability is appearing on America's Got Talent and making it to the second round. Making it to the second round isn't that notable, as there are plenty of people that do, and many finalists don't even have articles. After googleing them, I found only 3 relevant hits, one being their own website. Do you have anything besides being on America's Got Talent that would make them notable? If so, please add them and source them as that could make them notable enough. --(Review Me) R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 02:12, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of The Duttons edit

I've nominated The Duttons, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that The Duttons satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Duttons and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of The Duttons during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. --(Review Me) R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 02:01, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
