Your GA nomination of Delta Upsilon

The article Delta Upsilon you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold  . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Delta Upsilon for things which need to be addressed. Chris (talk) 19:56, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

There were edits done, but the article was failed earlier today. Chris (talk) 22:32, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Is there a way to make more edits and resubmit it? Thank you for your advice, btw. --armoreno10 01:03, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Yes, just follow the suggestions that were made in the GA1 and resubmit. When you do so, I will not check this and will let another user do this. I hope this helps. Chris (talk) 12:42, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

I'm Back!

Hey Armoreno! I’m back, but I’ve changed my name to Dr. Rhino, in case you’re wondering. So, I’d be glad to help you on anything you need. Cheers! Dr. Rhino 16:46, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of Chi Psi brothers

The article List of Chi Psi brothers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced list. No indication of WP:notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 19:34, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Re:List of Delta Upsilon chapters

Thanks for your comments, I have been working on that table for a while, I just wanted to get it as finished as possible (with external sources for all), before I replaced the mainspace content with the new content. If you see any changes which need to be made, please feel free to assist.

Thanks, DUKyleXY (talk) 21:40, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Request for interview

Hi Armoreno10 -

I'm a professor working with the GroupLens project at the University of Minnesota, trying to learn about how the adopt-a-user program functions so that we can hopefully develop tools and ideas that might improve it. Your user page indicates you have been adopted... would you be willing to have a conversation with me so I could ask you a bunch of questions about your interactions with the adopt-a-user program? (I'd be willing to do a phone call, instant messaging, or whatever way you would best prefer to do it.) I'm hoping that as a result of having a few of these conversations with people, I'll better understand how users in general get involved, how the adoptee / adopter pairings work out, and so on. Let me know. Thanks! SeparateWays (talk) 19:38, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

I'm Armoreno's Adopter...by the way Armoreno, hey, how's it going? Remember to tell me if you need anything. Anyways, back to the subject. I can tell you a few things about this, if you would like. The Arbiter 20:30, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, Arbiter! I'll post something on your talk page. Continuing a discussion between us on Armoreno's page must be silly. :) SeparateWays (talk) 17:45, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Proposal to delete *all* fraternity chapter articles.

See Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#92_articles_which_as_a_class_all_seem_to_me_to_violate_WP:NOT.23DIRECTORY. I've argued against it and would appreciate your input.

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Survey

Hi Armoreno!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! San Francisco meetup at WMF headquarters

Hi Armoreno10,

I just wanted to give you a heads-up about the next wiki-meetup happening in SF. It'll be located at our very own Wikimedia Foundation offices, and we'd love it if some local editors who are new to the meetup scene came and got some free lunch with us :) Please sign up on the meetup page if you're interested in attending, and I hope to see you soon! Chicago 'L'

I quickfailed Chicago 'L'. See my comments at Talk:Chicago 'L'/GA2. Feel free to nominate again after you have addressed the concerns and checked WP:WIAGA.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:23, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

The MBTA Good article nominations

Howdy. I just wanted to let you know, it would be in your best interest to withdraw Silver Line (MBTA), Orange Line (MBTA) and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority articles. They would not past several parts of the Good article criteria, so it would be best to withdraw them. Mitch32(It is very likely this guy doesn't have a girlfriend.) 19:46, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

What would you suggest I focus on to improve these articles? I based my nominations on the GA status of Washington Metro, Red Line (Washington Metro), Blue Line (Washington Metro), etc. I appreciate your help and that you took the time to advise me on this. Have a good day. --domesticenginerd 21:05, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

2009 Mediterranean Games/GA1

Hi Armoreno10, I'm not that active on Wikipedia these days. So, can you give me three days to fix the issues you raised at GAN? — Bill william comptonTalk 03:44, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Love Does book cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Love Does book cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:16, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Good Article Recruitment Centre

Hello Domesticenginerd! I see that you are now starting to review some Good article nominations and you are currently in the middle of learning how to....mainly on your own. Because you are new to this process, I want to inform you about a new program that is starting in a couple of days that is intended to teach new reviewers how to properly review nominations by an expert, one-on-one. More information about the program can be found by clicking here. If you decide to take part in the program, you will surely no longer need to ask for second opinions on your nominations and will be able to do reviews all by yourself without having to second guess your decisions. Hope to seeing you around reviewing nominations in the future!--Dom497 (talk) 02:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Ok, so there's been a minor change in plans. Now that the Recruitment Centre is open, leave a message on the recruiter's (of your choice) talk page asking if they would like to recruit you instead of waiting for a recruiter to message you. The recruiter should respond back in a timely manner.--Dom497 (talk) 23:45, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Your GA review of 2009 Mediterranean Games/GA1

Just wanted to touch base on this review. It's been sitting for a while waiting for a second opinion. That has been rendered by myself and another editor. Could you take a look and then either make suggestions or finalize the review? Since you initiated the review you should be the one to make the final determinations. Thanks! H1nkles (talk) citius altius fortius 15:33, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for following up, Hinkles. I wanted to give the nominator time to implement the suggested changes. He had let me know that he'd need a little time. I will make my final decision this weekend. --domesticenginerd 05:57, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

GA recruitment

Dom, I went ahead and created a sub-page for you, as per the Centre's instructions: Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Recruiter Central/Archives/Domesticenginerd. The next thing to do is to write up the quiz for you; I'll do that shortly and put it on the sub-page. My first set of instructions are already there. Warning: I may be able to create the quiz today, but I'm looking towards a busy weekend away from the computer, so I may not be able to "score" it until Monday. Then we'll get you introduced to the GA nominations page and I'll start to mentor you. Welcome! Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 22:15, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
Excellent! Thank you, Christine. Look forward to working with you. --domesticenginerd 05:17, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I put a new message over there... Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 15:25, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Hey, it's been a while since there's been any response. If you're no longer interested in participating, that's cool, but let me know so I can close things. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 19:46, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi Christine. I'm still very interested - just been busy with some new job stuff. I looked over your GAN and will send you questions over the next couple of days. I'm sorry for any confusion or frustration that my delay has caused. --domesticenginerd 20:29, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Dom, it's been over three weeks since any movement on this, and almost a month since I started step two, so I think it's best that we close this. I totally understand about being busy, especially with job stuff. I also understand that real life always lives trump editing. I'll give you a couple of days to respond and tell me to wait, but if you don't, I'll close this by the end of the weekend. Good luck! Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 16:40, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Talk:University of California, San Diego/GA3

You opened this review (under your previous name) on June 6, and have not yet added any actual review comments for this article after four weeks. Are you planning on continuing the review, or should we return it to the reviewing pool? Please reply here and let us know. Many thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 14:00, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi BlueMoonset. Sorry about that. I got sidetracked. I am planning on completing it by next Sunday (July 14th). If that is too long, please feel free to return to review pool and just let me know. Thanks and sorry again. Best regards, domesticenginerd 04:33, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi again. I completed review with my comments. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. --domesticenginerd 04:12, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for finishing, domesticenginerd. The nominator hasn't edited since you finished the review (last edit was June 29, and before that June 8). There have been a number of edits since, but I don't know whether they've addressed the issues you raised. If they have improved the article significantly, you might want to identify what's left to do and give a bit more time. If not improved, or insufficiently improved, it's been over a week, so it's probably time to close the nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:05, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Just as an FYI, I closed the nomination yesterday as unsuccessful. You hadn't edited on Wikipedia in a while, there hadn't been any significant improvements, and another two weeks had passed. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:29, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/PROS, Inc. concern

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/PROS, Inc., a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/PROS, Inc.

Hello Domesticenginerd. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "PROS, Inc.".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/PROS, Inc.}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:01, 4 February 2014 (UTC)

External Link cleanup of List of Alpha Gamma Delta chapters

I thought that I would drop you a note since you've worked heavily on the article List of Alpha Gamma Delta chapters, the article has been marked for external link cleanup for about 5 years and I've gotten to that one in my cleanup list. I wanted to touch base with you on that. I do think it is right to remove them, and wanted to talk to you first. (Yes, WP:BRD, but in this case...)Naraht (talk) 15:58, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
